A viral track repeating just two words,“Yanis Varoufakis,” is spreading across Russia's clubland.
Created by a Moscow DJ, the tune has taken off among zoomers, with critics linking its appeal to a revival of 90s/early 2000s techno. The irony is that most listeners likely have no idea who @yanisvaroufakis is, they just like the rhythm of the name.
Some clips from my set last month in Leeds stuck together to make a short video youtu.be/d86SsVVa1f4?si=BNmx…
youtube.com/watch?v=UJ8VGff8… Cheers to whoever ripped/uploaded this, I've not listened to it for ages and wish I had the orginal master tracks as digital.
Remembering to post to 5-6 different social media platforms about a new release. Sorry 'X' you're just before Facebook this time, new BBBlood, five copies left on the very smart Un poco fría Label unpocofria.bandcamp.com/albu… check it out x
Twitter is the only public social media I really post to now, but here's my eoy list / review. For anyone who wants to know bbblood.blogspot.com/?m=1
Found myself starting to come up with my eoy list earlier. Had to wobble my head it's only October but something feels a bit end of year about today.

Hard to know what to say anymore. Westerners aren’t just watching an extermination campaign happen before our eyes, we’re arming and enabling it.
Horrifying scenes unfolding in northern #Gaza Strip, where tens of thousands of people are stranded amid intensified violence, relentless Israeli strikes, and an ever worsening humanitarian crisis.
The situation is only getting worse. This war must end.

On 9/11/1973, a US-backed coup overthrew the democratically-elected socialist government of Salvador Allende in Chile 🇨🇱, ushering in an era of fascism that it has still not recovered from.
Listen to Allende's final words broadcast live to the nation.
