The summit dubbed, “The Future of Artificial Intelligence, Automation and Information Security in Africa Global Summit 2023” will commence on Wednesday, 13th September and close on Friday, 15th September 2023 at the Raddison Blu Resort in Livingstone.
This global summit has been convened by Compu-Connect Education, a South African-based IT consulting firm with operations in Zambia. The event has received full endorsement from the Zambian Ministry of Technology and Science.

Technology and Science Minister Hon. Felix Mutati who was the Guest of Honour at the pre-Global Summit launch that was held in Lusaka last week represented by his Permanent Secretary Dr. Brilliant Habeenzu, PhD said the Zambian Government is keen on exploring the potential that comes with AI and automation.
“My Ministry will invest in developing new skills for our young people that will equip them and enable proficiency in AI, automation and information security. Skills building is the only way we can create an inclusive digital economy that will allow our people to reap the benefits of AI and automation,” Hon. Mutati said in a speech read on his behalf by Permanent Secretary Dr. Brilliant Habeenzu.
@SarahNjamu, who is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Compu-Connect Education said, Africa should be at the forefront of leading its own conversation on the future of artificial intelligence, Automation and Information Security.
Mrs Njamu who was recently named as one of the top 10 women in technology to watch by a US-based global magazine called the CIOLook, said the time has come for Africa to be awake to the new dispensation of AI, automation and machine learning.
