Hill, Rights and Blessings!
Hill - It's not biblical. Whether you choose to die or live on that hill. No where the bible commands what you said.
Right - Once received the consent, approval of the parents and family members, marriage is consummated.
Blessings- God's people (church) should be present at traditional weddings to bless the couple. Church building doesn't communicate blessings. It's God's people!

As a Christian, you don't need to stop at traditional marriage.
After the traditional marriage, proceed to Church for your Church wedding.
It's sickening seeing this generation of Christians avoiding Church wedding now.
After the traditional marriage, you still have no right sleeping with her until after the Church wedding.
GO AND BLESS YOUR MARRIAGE IN THE CHURCH.
Until religious and public office holders are viewed as Servants and Stewards, we will never be able to hold them accountable and will find no legality to require the least of qualities from them which is FAITHFULNESS!
Whatever we do, we must do well, put great efforts and work with all our might without forgetting it is the Lord who gives increase and breathes on and graciously blesses our labour. Grace isn't lazy, it works and works well!
'Prone to wander, Lord I feel it, prone to leave the God I love. Here's my heart Lord take and seal it, Seal it for thy courts above'. That's my daily cry, my daily prayer.
If God's grace found you, wander any where in this world, it will locate yoy and bring you home to Christ!
Hyper Grace says: I'm saved forever. I'm free to live my life. People don't read their bibles. Once saved is forever saved.
Eternal Security says: God is faithful who called me, He will confirm me to the end. He will present me blameless before Him. He will keep me from falling!
What's the difference?
When you're dragged into unnecessary controversies about people, denominations and dogmas, it's better to ask these questions: Is Christ divided? Was Paul (or whoever)crucified for me? Was I baptized in their names?
If the answer is NO, don't waste your time or efforts!
When you feel gaslighed or despised by others because of your faith, remember HOW you were called. Not because of your nobleness, or your wisdom, or some extraordinary qualities that you possess.
The manner of your calling was to shame the very people that set out to shame you!
When the world thought they had wisdom, God made foolish their wisdom. He decided to use the base things of this world to confound the wise. The manner in which God saves can only be determined by God, not man!
The prayer of Solomon in 1 Kings is one of the portions in Scripture I look forward to in my daily/yearly bible readings. It's immensely profound!

No matter how far away you've erred and wandered from the Lord, His arms are wide open to receive you. He seeks His own and will never lose them!
This was me.
I left the Church when I had too many questions and too few answers.
20ish years an atheist.
I was the founder and president of our atheist club on campus.
I got to meet Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Dan Barker, etc.
I dressed up as a pirate and mocked street preachers and the Gospel by preaching the Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
I was even an occasional drag queen.
I know that road. There’s no meaning to be found there. And once the carefree spirit of youth wore away, all that was left was vanity.
But Christ finds us even when we’ve wandered far. And He will always take you back.
Christ is King.
Parenting with Mercy!
One of the biggest errors Christian parents make is to forget. Not forgetting the baby's diaper bag. Not forgetting to pack the school lunch. Not forgetting to pick the teenager up after practice.
No, there's something much bigger that we forget.
When we forget the daily mercies we've received from the Heavenly Father's hands, mercies we could have never earned, deserved, or achieved, it becomes much easier for us not to parent our children with mercy.
We still have a long way to go as a people!
Whenever the political elite need to safeguard their family fortunes and maintain an iron grip on power, they suddenly co-opt activists, manufacture outrage, and mobilize the masses to fight their proxy wars. This is precisely what we are witnessing today in Osun State.
Let us be clear: this is not a struggle for the socioeconomic well-being of the good people of Osun, nor is it a campaign to create sustainable jobs for the struggling working class. It is a calculated fight to protect a political dynasty, corner lucrative state contracts, secure unfettered access to the public treasury, and preserve an entrenched system of elite patronage.
Tragically, many Nigerians remain trapped in a cycle of political amnesia. Until the electorate learns to see through this engineered hysteria, ordinary citizens will continue to serve as mere stepping stones and cannon fodder for the ruling class.

Our assurance of living eternally hinges on the promises and the eternal existence of Christ. There's no bravado about it. For Christ to be divine, we must see clearly that He's eternal, He will live on when all things are gone.

The constant communication that exists between Jesus and God, the Father is unfathomable. Jesus prays to the Father and knows He'll be heard! He will pray and the Father will give!
No guesswork, no misgivings! He belongs to the Committee!
