(Special thanks to @BC_ALOps for being kind enough to allow public projects to use it for free, which I am glad to benefit from here.)

Excited to be a Platinum sponsor yet again for @bctechdays with @BC_ALOps . And .. we have new things to announce by then - stay tuned!
Don't know what ALOps is? It's a set of building blocks, that makes it easy to set up @AzureDevOps for #msdyn365bc!
ALOps retweeted
Eh? Move away from Azure DevOps? Like .. completely turn around your internal way of working? Give up the integrations? My people would kill me… 🙈
You can simply implement @BC_ALOps and stay with your trusted, familiar DevOps software and get OnPrem support as a bonus. 🤷🏻♂️
The most voted question on the #MSDyn365BC Office Hours call on AL-Go for GitHub yesterday was:
"How do I migrate (with History) from an old repo based on the CI/CD HOL (DevOps or GitHub) to AL-Go for GitHub.?"
I will create a documentation on how to do this ASAP...

You want to set up your @AzureDevOps pipelines for #msdyn365bc easily, efficiently,.. and still being able to have full control over your own workflow - OnPrem AND SaaS - with AL specific tasks?
@BC_ALOps helps you focus on what matters!

Coincidence, but it’s quite the target of @BC_ALOps as well ;-).
Give me an hour, and you’re set with pipelines for AL in DevOps on your existing repo 😉 - an hour more for deployment at OnPrem or SaaS customers.
For the untrained, it might take somewhat longer though ;-)

I can confirm this. We already had Azure DevOps in place for source control. After trying to create our PowerShell scripts we decided to try @BC_ALOps and within a day we where up-and-running! The extra features that ALOps bring to the table are a huge plus.

Sometimes fighting with Docker containers is a bother and frustrating, but with tools like BCContainerHelper and @BC_ALOps, it's amazing how much *can* be point & click.
Thanks, @waldo1001 and @freddydk.

I am speechless as to how cool that is.
With the latest release of ALOps, you can now generate OpenAPI documentation of default and custom APIs for #msdyn365bc, and make it part of your @AzureDevOps Artifacts.
Example pipeline can be found here (it's just one extra step): github.com/HodorNV/ALOps/blo…

When I g’et up in the morning I clap my hands, knowing that I’m using compilerV2, it Will be a great day

This is absolutely one of the best features of @BC_ALOps!
For example a PTE with about ±500 objects takes less then a minute to compile with all the CodeCops enabled (and yes, also support for the custom Business Central LinterCop CodeCop)
"CompilerV2" is our "Compiler without the need for Docker", which basically means: blazin' fast!

A formal thanks to @freddydk for mentioning @BC_ALOps as an @AzureDevOps alternative to AL-Go for GitHub.
You want building blocks?
DevOps is not too complex for you?
You have a little more than "a simple PTE or AppSource app"?
Then @BC_ALOps is the tool for you! 😉

This is as it always has should been. We use @BC_ALOps and for a long time it's already been this fast (a few more steps are in that 1 plus minute, like CodeSing the App).

"You just did in hours what would have taken me weeks" - talking about a good investment. ;-).

Using @BC_ALOps (@waldo1001) can only be recommended. If you want to go full service ask at @Group_COSMO (especially @tobiasfenster) for the COSMO Azure DevOps & Docker SelfService: marketplace.cosmoconsult.com…

Wow, we are using @BC_ALOps for a whole year now! 🥳We are really happy to have this software licensed, if you are thinking about using #DevOps with @MSDYN365BC and pipelines - get a license! It really speeds up setting up #pipelines #alops #msdyn365bc

It might have come up, yes. 😄 Easily pipeline-driven scheduled deployment is a powerful attractor.

"Do I _really_ need a Build Pipeline?" - Well #MSDyn365bc folks - if it hadn't been for @BC_ALOps I would have missed this one ...
Our offering is a "don't worry, just use it" kind of SaaS solution which basically does everything for you around dev, test and release. This youtube.com/watch?v=dHM4qgJV… will give you an idea and we've added a couple new features by now. And by the way, this is "powered by @BC_ALOps"

#BCALToolbox has now successfully executed the first pipeline run using @BC_ALOps
What took the longest was remembering the Admin Password, and getting the the server to accept .net 4.8 (it took rebooting twice) (And @waldo1001 prepping the pipeline didn't hurt)
