Flooding Potential. Timing: Through 4am Wednesday, February 5, 2025. Forecast: Valley and Delta: An additional 2 to 3 inches of rain. Foothills: an additional 3 to 5 inches of rain. Mountains below 5500 feet: an additional 3 to 7 inches of rain. Nuisance flooding on roads and urban and low lying areas. Sharp rises on area rivers, creeks, and streams. Potential for mud/rock slides in the foothills. Precautions: Never drive across flooded roads. Be aware if living near streams and creeks. Have an evacuation plan and emergency kit.
