The term Artificial Intelligence is wrong. It did not fall suddenly from the sky. It's human intelligence and anything that might be wrong with AI is wrong with HI. AI is a chance to make HI better. Because it holds up a mirror to humans so we see all the things we got wrong.

Random observation. When you're involved in writing (localisation/transcreation, copywriting etc) you see a LOT of TOV guides. And - sorry to all the oh so unique brands - essentially, they're all the same, throwing around a forever repeating selection of buzzwords...

Yes! As a non-smoker I was force “to stink” throughout my teenage years and 20ies and it still pisses me off. Nothing lingers in your clothes, hair and skin like the stink of cigarette smoke.
Well done to @idvck for being possibly the first person to point out the infuriating contradiction between the German obsession with fresh air and the fact that almost every bar is totally full of smoke

Germany 🇩🇪 might be out of the World Cup but Hackney is host to some lasting German legacy. (Apologies for the tenuous link). By the mid-18th century there were about eighty German refineries in London, prone to fires they were eventually banned from the City in 1807. 🧵1/3

“Football is a simple game. Twenty-two men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans always win.” If they get through the group stage.
