Michael Stanley and The Resonators co-billed a post-game concert on 6/18/11 at Progressive Field …CLE beat PIT 5-1…Grady Sizemore had a 2B and 3B in front of 31,000+
A few horn players of the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra showing Guards spirit prior to their concert outside the Konzerthaus in Vienna! Awesome!Thank you! #StandGuard

Good morning, Guards fans. What a ballgame, what a night! Josey homers and pitchers dominate (21Ks) = clinch at home! So happy for our fans. Progressive Field was electric once again. Best thing- More Baseball For Us! GO GUARDS! #StandGuard
We are deeply saddened by the passing of dear friend Sam McDowell. A strikeout king. His life a story of redemption;after extensive education/training, Sam was a counselor for athletes suffering from addiction and depression. Condolences to family/friends 🙏🏻

In the center of the Guardians' clubhouse, a few pieces of parchment tell the story of their season. They include the names of every player who has fueled a win: the usual suspects and names you've forgotten.
To win the AL Central, they needed everyone.

Napoleon Lajoie and Steven Kwan share birthdays today! Lajoie born 1874 Woonsocket, RI; played for CLE Naps (named after him of course) 1903-1914. HOF 1937 (2nd class); Kwany is 29 today born Los Gatos, CA …2X All-Star; 4X Gold Glover. ⚾️🎂⚾️
Happy 60th Birthday AB! Still marvel at 1995 season - first player in MLB history to hit 50HR/50DBLs (actually 52 dbls) w/126 RBI and .315 BA - in only 144Gs! Hit .357 in ‘94 … feared, studious hitter of his era. 🎂
Guards 6-1 win tonight over SD in front of 6th sellout crowd of 2026 was 10,000th victory in franchise history…3rd American League club to do so; 11th franchise in MLB history. Rock ‘N’ Blast show perfect way to celebrate!
Childhood idol Rocco Domenico Colavito born this day 1933 here w/Tito after ceremonial first pitch a number of years ago. Always special when The Rock visited Cleveland-whether wonderful evening during 2019 ASG week at Playhouse Square or unveil of statue this date in 2021.
