A good look at 3rd and Pike and 12th and Jackson in Seattle. Don't believe the people that say Seattle doesn't have big problems with drugs.

That is not what happened in Seattle. It was cleared because the protesters killed a second black kid at CHOP. Not because Trump threatened anything. #DebateNight
Interesting data from CoStar. Looks like Seattle is still a desirable area to live and people are wanting to move here.
12th/Jackson mess is causing harm to the low income residents in the neighborhood but this guy is calling it poverty porn to point out the problem? People in actual poverty want the problem called out. And often until it's fixed.

At 1st and Union I just saw 2 drivers make obvious illegal turns in front of a cop and cop did nothing. What even does @SeattlePD do these days?
I'm so happy for Michael Penix Jr. He has earned it and I hope he has an amazing career, except when he plays the Seahawks.
Seattle is always rainy and filled with homeless. Why would anyone want to live here? Somehow I was able to enjoy yet another day of biking around Seattle.
I don't always agree with We 💚 Seattle but for the most part they do really good work. I wish homeless advocates weren't so divisive and could work together.

The odds of your child getting kidnapped are about 1 in a million.
The odds of a person born in 2021 dying in a traffic crash are about 1 in a hundred.
American parents act like these stats are reversed. Paranoid about the rare kidnapping when the common drive is deadly.
Enjoying coffee on the chairs out front of Caffe Vino Olio. What an enjoyable atmosphere 🙄 Sure is nice they put tables in this parking lot.
Wife and I took the bus for the first time in a while. It was not a pleasant experience. We take the Link often but busses in Seattle are just not pleasant to ride on.
Been driving instead of Linking since they changed the schedules but made the mistake of trying the Link today. I knew it would be bad. I did not imagine it would be this bad. How is this acceptable for scheduled work in a major city? @SoundTransit

I’m gonna give 10 random people that repost this and follow me $25,000 for fun (the $250,000 my X video made)
I’ll pick the winners in 72 hours
Seattle multifamily starts down to lowest amount since 2010. City seems to think homelessness is solved? Multifamily starts nationwide are up so it’s not a national issue.

I used to oversee housing on the eastside and 90% of my problem residents were CEA/KCRHA referrals while they made up less than 10% of my residents. Until KCRHA is willing to address this issue we are going to see more of this.
#BREAKING: Kenmore City Council votes 6-1 to block controversial Plymouth Housing project(@PlymouthHousing) from coming into downtown.
Angry residents claimed it was pitched as affordable housing for veterans and senior citizens. But then it got switched to housing for the chronically homeless and drug addicted individuals.
Bottom line, Kenmore is saying "housing first" is a failure and the "low barrier" free for all drug culture will not be tolerated.
This could set a precedent for other King County cities facing similar proposals from other housing providers.
Numerous people said, "We don't want to become the next Seattle."
FINAL VOTE:
Nigel Herbig-No
David Baker-No
Angela Kugler-No
Joe Marshall-No
Melanie O'Cain-No
Debra Srebnik-No
Corina Pfeil-Yes
The other part of the story, this council meeting went nearly eighty hours and ended at 3am on Tuesday. The public comment portion of the evening/morning was emotionally charged and people came in from places like Seattle and Burien to share their perspectives.
