Pooling resources does not automatically create more BEM
But it changes how participants compete for rewards under the PoD mechanism
The first official Mining Pool has received 13,272 Transistors
Resources that were previously scattered among different participants can now be coordinated to tackle more complex Circuit Design challenges
This is a powerful development
Resource collaboration, Design Quality, and Execution Capability are all potential advantages
For BEM, the total amount of rewards and participants’ ability to compete for those rewards are two different things
官方最优矿池 进展公告:
接收期已结束了,感谢大家对首个官方矿池的支持。截止目前,接收地址一共收到了 13,272 个晶体管,其中:
Behemoth
NAND 1,084 + LATCH 1,775 = 2,859
TapeOut
NAND 7,344 + LATCH 3,069 = 10,413
A healthy PoD ecosystem cannot be measured by mining activity alone
It also matters whether new designs are useful, competition remains meaningful, and Builders continue to participate
Over time, real applications and user demand become important signals of economic sustainability
For BEM, the long term question is not simply how much gets mined
It is what the ecosystem becomes capable of producing
The recent contribution of 700 BEM to @TapeOutCF raises an important question
How can community resources create lasting value for Builders?
Security reviews, development tools, and support for working applications are practical areas worth exploring
A contribution becomes meaningful through how effectively resources are used
The focus should remain on what developers can build and deliver
A token launch can attract attention
It cannot prove product market fit
Before issuing an asset, Builders should be able to demonstrate what works, who uses it, and what value it creates
For BEM, real economic activity deserves to come before market expectations
Build the product
Prove the demand
Then discuss the asset
Mining rewards and business revenue answer different questions
PoD rewards compensate eligible participation according to protocol rules
Business revenue comes from customers paying for products or services
A project may generate protocol rewards without demonstrating customer demand
For the BEM ecosystem, distinguishing these two sources of value is essential when evaluating long term sustainability
Transistors provide building resources
Circuits turn those resources into functional designs
PoD introduces competition around eligible designs
But a broader production economy requires another step
Connecting what gets produced with what people actually need
For BEM, the opportunity is to explore how On Chain production can move beyond internal incentives toward real utility
Before evaluating a digital miner, calculate the costs
Transistors used in construction
Circuit creation and transaction fees
Design effort and development time
Competition under the PoD mechanism
And the market value of BEM rewards
Gross rewards alone cannot tell you whether mining is economically worthwhile
Costs matter just as much as output
More Circuits mean more designs have been created
But creation volume alone does not establish economic demand
How many designs meet PoD requirements?
How many are reused by other Builders?
How many contribute to applications with real users?
For BEM, these are different measures of ecosystem activity
Production volume matters, but utilization tells another part of the story
Every reward mechanism influences participant behavior
The question is what kind of behavior it encourages
Does competition lead to better circuit designs?
Does it encourage meaningful experimentation?
Can the resulting designs contribute to applications beyond mining?
For BEM, understanding PoD means looking beyond reward distribution and examining what the incentives actually produce
Owning a digital miner and earning BEM are not the same thing
Ownership defines the asset you hold
PoD rules determine how eligible designs participate in reward allocation
Competition and costs influence the actual economic outcome
A miner can be a productive resource without providing predictable income
Understand the mechanism before evaluating the returns
A Circuit NFT is more than a record of ownership
It represents a digital circuit design with defined computational logic
That logic can be examined, tested, and potentially reused in larger systems
For BEM, this introduces an interesting distinction
An asset can represent something designed to perform a function, not only something intended to be collected or traded
Does using more Transistors always make a better Circuit?
Not necessarily
A design should be evaluated by what it accomplishes and how efficiently it uses available resources
In PoD, understanding the relationship between circuit structure, resource consumption, and the applicable scoring rules matters more than simply counting components
More is not always better
PoD introduces a different way to think about mining
Instead of focusing only on computational power, Proof of Design evaluates digital circuit designs under defined rules
Correctness, design requirements, and efficiency become part of the competition
BEM rewards are connected to this mechanism
The interesting question is not simply who participates, but how design contributes to the outcome
There is a fundamental difference between building a business around an asset and issuing an asset around a working business
The first often begins with expectations about future value
The second begins with a product, users, and economic activity that can already be examined
Transparent data does not eliminate risk
But it gives participants a better foundation for evaluating what is actually being built
Before evaluating an asset launch, evaluate the activity behind it
Is there a working application?
Can its progress be independently verified?
Are users engaging with the product beyond temporary incentives?
Is there a credible path toward sustainable operations?
These questions do not guarantee success
But they provide a stronger basis for evaluating economic substance than an asset launch announcement alone
Attention can generate expectations
Real users can demonstrate adoption
Revenue can help test whether that adoption supports a viable business
A sustainable ecosystem needs more than activity driven by incentives alone
In the PoD ecosystem, Transistors and Circuits provide resources for constructing Processors
But having the resources to build is different from creating something users need
The next challenge is connecting technical production with useful applications and sustainable economic activity
