So excited about this! On the base of the satellite a poem, 'All Ways Home', has been etched on. It was written by @jcspie students from around Ireland as part of a lockdown project, which included @EnniscorthyC student, Evan Corrigan. 😃🛰🌌🇮🇪🎉 @WWETBofficial @jcsplibraries

Thank you @Independent_ie for publishing this letter from @SLG_LAI . Expansion of @jcsplibraries has been on 'temporary' hold since 2008. There is no longer any excuse for this shameful failure to meet expansion commitments under DEIS policy. #Budget24 needs to reflect progress

A little thank you from a 6th year student "for the books, for the chats, for the fun, for being there"... School Libraries transform lives - all students in Ireland should have access to the services of a professional, qualified Librarian. @NormaFoleyTD1 @jcsplibraries @SLG_LAI

How amazing would this be? Expand the @jcsplibraries. @NormaFoleyTD1 This would be life changing for some students. Just walk into a JCSP library school and see the difference they make!

A motion that all schools in Ireland should have a school library to support the success of every student was eloquently proposed by @Andrea_MDillon on behalf of @SLG_LAI at the @LAIonline AGM. The motion was supported by all present. More on the SLG at: schoollibrariesireland.com/👏

Thank you for your words of support @sinead_moriarty Our libraries and librarians really do make such a contribution to student learning and experience of education in DEIS schools. Expansion to further schools is essential if we are serious about educational equality.
