Anybody saying the Benz can’t be a good home field advantage is lying to themselves. We just need a consistent football team playing on the field.

Playing Game 6 of the WNBA Finals on Thursday afternoon is an embarrassment.
But it’s not an act of misogyny — it’s logistics, and it’s entirely the WNBA’s fault. The WNBA is too big now to blame the NBA for its failures.

If they have the game at Gateway, people are going to complain about the size of the venue and the inability for people to attend.
If they play the game at a college arena, people are gonna say well this is a new arena. They have never played here this year, it’s an unfair advantage because they’re unfamiliar with the court, etc.
If they make arrangements so that they can play at State Farm Arena, ( understanding that the Dream are not tenants at all of this building yet so this is really A LOT of moving parts trying to compromise to make it work) then there are complaints about the game being too early.
It feels like there is no winning in this situation because everybody’s gonna find something to complain about. Is it ideal? No. But is compromising ever ideal for everyone? No.
Does it suck to have a potential closeout game at 12:30 in the afternoon? Absolutely. But, I’m glad they made it work in someway and that another 18,000 people can enjoy what could be the final WNBA game of the season. #WNBA

“I think that Ian Cunningham specifically deserves a lot of credit for the bets they made along the defensive line this offseason."
