Took my 85 year old dad to his first ever #NUFC match tonight. Few drinks and good vibes in The Barracks. He's never really been a football fan but he thoroughly enjoyed it. Never too young/old to start 😂

This month's #PowerBI Desktop update includes #DAX query view, which allows us to create and run queries and view the results right inside the pane. Brilliant update 👏 powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/…

Another week, another #powerbi bug. What has happened to the card visual in the service @MSPowerBI team? I'm getting too old for these kind of silly problems.

I've found what the issue is, you have Shadow and Glow ON by default in the service, even though I have them OFF in PBI Desktop. SMH.

...and every time I republish, they switch back on in the service. Come on MS, do better, this is basic QAT stuff.

Replying to @MSPowerBI
@MSPowerBI I was hoping this bug would be fixed in the #PowerBI July update, but no, still there, and driving me mad for a couple of months now. Formatting for a visual, sometimes no options. Seems to be when visibility is toggled, e.g. for bookmarks 🤬

Only quick fix that I've learnt so far is to click on another page, then go back to original and then select the visual. Why is nobody else complaining about this?

September's @PowerBINewc is going to be a bit special, with 2 HUGE names in the #PowerBI community. We may need a bigger venue to fit everyone in! Watch this space, or better still, come along tomorrow evening and all will be revealed. A few spaces left. meetup.com/newcastle-pug/eve…
