I always get giddy when I see queer & trans books at the library. Makes me so happy to think about the librarian who ordered it, others who will read it, & of course, my turn to devour it.
Grateful my public library has copies of the memoir Gender Queer which I just read. 💕
The older I get, the more I appreciate photographers.
I feel honored to have known Rex Cameron and to have given a home at @HumSexCollects for his archives.
He was bold and courageous in his life and art. Thank you, Rex, for creating space for trans people. #LorenRexCameron – at Ithaca, NY
“He wasn’t invested in hiding that he had been a woman. He put his whole body and soul out there," said Brenda Marston, curator of Cornell’s Human Sexuality Collection (@HumSexCollects) in the New York Times obituary for photographer Loren Cameron.

Somehow this clip isn't everywhere with @AudieCornish telling Don Lemon she heard him say a woman's prime is in their 20s, 30s and "maybe 40s." Then she set him straight multiple times. Man I miss her @NPR

With this Chief Twit spreading hate-filled conspiracy theories that trivialize violence and an audience cheering the Twit on and equating made-up stories with fact checking, I’m tuning out. #ByeTwitter – at Ithaca, NY

And there we have it! Dr. Oz just told us decisions about abortion should be made by “a woman, her doctor, and local elected officials.” 😳 Vote for @JohnFetterman

Every voter should see this clip of Mehmet Oz, the Republican candidate for Senate in Pennsylvania, claiming that abortion should be a decision between “women, doctors, and local political leaders.”
Your body. Their choice.

Hawker acknowledges that it is unfortunately common practice for museums to outsource queer curation to teens for the purpose of plausible deniability which she describes as cowardly. Museums get credit if it's successful and if not, they can blame "those pesky kids" #QHCN2022
