It was actually our 250th anniversary.
Not that you would know — you spent it with the British.
Paxton: On July 4th, we celebrated the 200th anniversary of our country.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
July 4 2026 marked the 250th anniversary of US independence not the 200th as claimed in the video. Multiple reports placed Paxton in London England that weekend with videos of the trip.

What a courageous woman! Every citizen needs to do this.
THIS is what patriotism looks like. Wearing a red hat and chanting USA is not.

If you want to know why Americans from all sides of the political spectrum must push back on data centers, look no further than what Google just did to Finland.
Google skipped required environmental assessments and illegally clear-cut 815 acres of pristine forest.
Over 250,000 mature old growth trees were cut down. Habitats destroyed. Wildlife run out of the area, and into nearby villages searching for food.
Worst of all, because the entire operation was illegal, the wood from the site cannot be sold or processed. So 800 acres of old growth forests destroyed needlessly in just months, for one Google data center.
Donald Trump criticized Google for the project, not because of its destruction, but because he wanted the data center built here in America.
This is the future of our beautiful forests, national parks, and public lands in rural communities all across America, if we allow this administration to continue with this lawless destruction. VOTE. 🗳️

“The truth of the matter is that Trump will lose no sleep over the deaths of innocents in Ukraine as long as the Russian oligarchs keep pouring cash into his coffers, as they have done for decades.
When I started speaking out against Trump over a decade ago, the first thing I talked about was his copious ties to the Russian Mob. Having worked around his family on a TV show, it was quite obvious behind the scenes that they were extremely indebted and subservient to various members of the international criminal underworld.
The after-parties looked like a backroom poker den in Brighton Beach. Lots of dudes named Lenny who looked like they would kill you without a care, usually with someone diaphanous and imported on their arms.
The kind of young ladies who wear fur coats in May and for whom the word Bulgari becomes a verb. They are transactional arm candy for men who appear to be potatoes attached to skinny jeans, arms hairy and abutted, dripping with diamond-encrusted Swiss watches and gaudy pinky rings. Gold chains and greasy chests under purple silk and neglected buttons.
They tended to smell of aftershave and cabbage with a tobacco finish.
Ruddy and ruthless, business was conducted with the discernment of a drift net.
Their greed enveloped all in their wake. Some men, not made for working themselves, saw it as opportunity. Donald Trump has always been one of those men.”noelcasler.substack.com/p/yo…

“You can’t just forgive this” – Zelensky destroys Trump’s compromise idea after Bucha
Zelensky stood in Bucha and described what he saw.
Bodies on the pavement.
Kids. Adults. Elderly.
Hands tied. Tortured. Buried in pits.
Around 500 in one mass grave.
They looted homes.
Sexual violence.
People shot while running.
He brought the journalists himself.
“Don’t touch anything. The world has to see this.”
An old man who survived the Nazis said: They never treated people like that.
Then Trump talks about compromise.
Zelensky:
You can’t just forgive everything like that.
How do you forgive when a child was tortured?
Not abstract politics.
What he saw with his own eyes.

In 1935 Sinclair Lewis wrote the dystopian novel It Can't Happen Here, which describes how a demagogue could win the U.S. presidency and establish a fascist dictatorship by appealing to traditional American values: "... the worst Fascists were they who disowned the word 'Fascism' and preached enslavement to Capitalism under the style of Constitutional and Traditional Native American Liberty."
