Strong research finds its value not only in what it discovers, but in how effectively those ideas enter academic conversations.
As part of the International Conference on Reimagining Innovation and Value Pathways in Service Ecosystems, organised by the School of Management - BML Munjal University, in collaboration with the Academy of Management, a specialised workshop on academic publishing will offer researchers an opportunity to engage with the practicalities of publishing in management and education journals.

Mental health deserves more than a day of attention. It deserves a culture of care, every day.
As we move a few days past World Mental Health Day, the conversation around student wellbeing remains just as important.
In her recent article for BW Education, “Building Empathetic Campuses,” Ms. Rupa Murghai, Director, Wellness Centre, BML Munjal University, and Senior Psychologist and Counsellor, reflects on creating campus environments where students feel heard, understood and supported.
She highlights the need to look beyond academics and recognise the emotional and social challenges students navigate, while strengthening empathetic conversations, accessible support systems, faculty awareness and pathways to professional care.
Because student wellbeing is an integral part of education. And a campus where students can thrive begins with listening.

When academic partnerships move beyond institutions, they open doors to new possibilities for research, learning and exchange.
Dr. Atul Mishra, School of Engineering & Technology, BML Munjal University, represented BMU at the India–Norway Higher Education and Research Summit 2026 in Oslo, where a significant milestone emerged through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between BMU and OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University, Norway.
The partnership, facilitated through the Office of International Affairs BML Munjal University, creates avenues for international research collaboration, academic engagement, faculty interaction and student exchange, strengthening BMU’s global academic connections and creating new opportunities for the SoET community.
During the visit, Prof. Atul Mishra also introduced BMU and its leadership to Mrs Gloria Gangte, Ambassador of India to Norway, and presented her with a copy of The Making of Hero, authored by Sunil Kant Munjal.
The MoU marks another step in BMU’s efforts to build meaningful international collaborations that connect its academic community with institutions and research ecosystems across the world.
A partnership with possibilities, for research, exchange and learning beyond borders.

The future of work is changing faster than the job descriptions written for it. So perhaps the real question is: what should education prepare us for?
At the 36th Elets World Education Summit in New Delhi, Ms. Swati Munjal, President, BML Munjal University, joined senior academic leaders for the panel “From Classroom to Career: Redesigning Employability for an AI-Driven Workforce.”
Her perspective challenged the idea of being simply “job-ready”. In a world where roles, industries and technologies will keep evolving, she argued that education must focus on making young people “life-ready”, grounded in strong fundamentals, driven by curiosity and equipped to keep learning, adapt to change, work with others and create meaningful impact.
It is a perspective that reflects BMU’s own approach to education: preparing students not for one version of the future, but with the capabilities to navigate whatever comes next.

The technologies that define tomorrow need a generation equipped to build them.
As semiconductors become increasingly central to India’s technology ambitions, specialised knowledge and research-driven talent will play an important role in taking the ecosystem forward.
For Karmanya Bhalla, that journey has reached an exciting milestone. The B.Tech - EComE VII Semester student, pursuing a Major Specialisation in VLSI Design at BMU, has been awarded the Samsung Fellowship, Grade III, under the India Semiconductor Workforce Development Program (ISWDP).
Working with BMU’s VLSI Design Research Group, Karmanya is already exploring the field through research. The Samsung Fellowship opens up another opportunity to deepen his understanding of a technology that will shape India’s future.
Because at BMU, a specialisation is just the starting point. What matters is where students take their learning, how they put it into practice, and what they go on to create.
A proud milestone for Karmanya, and a promising step towards the semiconductor talent India will need next.
Congratulations, Karmanya!

The strongest ideas are often born where experience meets possibility.
At the IFQM Symposium 2026, Prof. Jaskiran Arora, Professor & Dean, Education Quality, BML Munjal University, brought to the conversation a perspective deeply informed by her experience at BMU, where learning is designed around real problems, active engagement and meaningful connections with industry. The symposium also brought together senior voices from industry and academia, with Ms. Swati Munjal, President, BML Munjal University, participating among the CEO speakers.
Drawing on her experience at BMU, Prof. Jaskiran Arora spoke about the role universities can play in building capability, curiosity and the confidence to turn knowledge into action. She highlighted how industry–academia collaboration can go beyond conventional partnerships to create spaces for research, innovation, mentoring and shared learning.
Her reflections offered a larger thought: global competitiveness is ultimately built by people who know how to learn, adapt, create and collaborate, and by ecosystems that give them the opportunity to do so.
A powerful conversation at the intersection of education, industry and the possibilities that emerge when the two truly work together.

Progress becomes meaningful when innovation is guided by the questions that matter.
At the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Trade and Sustainability (ICATS 2026), organised by BML Munjal University in collaboration with Confab 360 Degree and Orchid University, Sikkim, Dr. Dr Chandrasekhar Buddha, Chief Coordinating Officer, AICTE, reflected on the importance of bringing AI, trade and sustainability into a shared conversation, and of enabling academia and industry to translate knowledge into responsible innovation that benefits society.
His perspective added to a wider discussion around how technological progress can be thoughtful, collaborative and grounded in real-world impact, particularly as these forces increasingly intersect.
Hosted at BML Munjal University, the conversation brought together perspectives from academia, industry and policy, creating space to look at these interconnected questions from different vantage points.
A valuable perspective from ICATS 2026, and a conversation that stays with us beyond the conference.

Research innovation becomes truly meaningful when it moves from an idea into the hands of the people who can use it.
MetaInfoSci, the in-house web-based research analytics tool developed at BML Munjal University, has taken an important step in that journey, reaching the international research community through a hands-on workshop at the National Science Foundation, Sri Lanka,
Dr. Kiran Sharma conducted the workshop on “Bibliometrics and Scientometrics Using MetaInfoSci”, introducing researchers to the tool and its applications in research analytics. Jointly developed by Dr. Kiran Sharma and Dr. Ziya Uddin, MetaInfoSci represents the potential of home-grown academic innovation to find relevance well beyond its place of origin.
The response has already opened doors to further workshops at universities across Sri Lanka, creating opportunities for international collaboration, knowledge exchange and wider adoption.
From being developed within BMU to being explored by researchers internationally, MetaInfoSci is beginning a journey that demonstrates what university-led innovation can make possible when research meets real-world application.
