Talking explicit risk-based design with @SFPE_London this morning. Encouraging everybody to 'ask the awkward questions' about safety levels in prescriptive solutions 💪🏻🔥🕵️🏻♂️
Great to have @BMR_fire present at the @SFPE_London seminar today, really interesting to learn about fire safety design in the construction industry!

The world has seen some many awful fires in recent history, Grenfell, the California wildfires and most recently the Notre Dame in Paris. @GuillermoRein will be talking about the science behind fire and why these disasters devastate.

@BMR_fire presents on collaboration between architects and fire engineers. Can true collaboration lead to more interesting buildings, or should we provide "a list of beautiful sprinklers"? #FiredUp2019
