I love seeing Messi fans constantly trying to disrespect Ronaldo and his achievements while claiming the GOAT debate is over. Keep going, because two can play that game. Ronaldo fans slandered Messi's name throughout the 2026 World Cup, and I absolutely loved it. There's more to come. What I cannot stand is Messi fans dishing out disrespect but playing the victim and reporting accounts when Ronaldo fans retaliate. If you live in a glass house, stop throwing stones. You cannot dish it out and then cry when it comes back to you.

Ronaldo's international retirement announcement has reminded me of two interesting Messi-Ronaldo comparisons: Messi has scored more international penalties and more goals in international friendlies. Just putting that out there.

These two men have shared football's biggest stage for years. If Ronaldo did the same, Messi fans would call him arrogant. Now they're excusing Messi by bringing up comments Ronaldo allegedly made about him and his family. Why can't Messi simply be the bigger person? He found time to post an Instagram story about the late Jesus, so what's stopping him from acknowledging Ronaldo? The double standards are ridiculous.

Watching Raphinha's emotional post-match interview with Thierry Henry on CBS Sports, as he reflected on the tragic death of Jesús de Miguel, showed exactly what kind of human being and captain he is. Raphinha is one of Barcelona's most likeable players, and he's becoming a leader this young squad can genuinely look up to. He has the personality, character and quality to become a Barcelona legend. The biggest thing Barcelona fans can hope for now is that he stays fit, because so much of their season depends on him.

PSG fans were calling La Liga a farmers' league and claiming they'd score 400 goals every season in Spain after beating Villarreal 6-0. Then Como went to Lens, one of Ligue 1's top two teams, and demolished them 9-1. The argument died very quickly. PSG being the best team in the world doesn't suddenly make Ligue 1 competitive. If anything, their dominance exposes how monopolised the league has become. You cannot use PSG's superiority to pretend the rest of Ligue 1 is suddenly elite.
