A lot of people are dreading the winter.
The cost of living crisis is also a health crisis impacting on people's physical and mental health and creating further inequalities. So many are worried about paying energy bills, energy companies are making huge profits. Government must put a windfall tax on energy companies.

It certainly is a conflict of interests, but with this rabble in power why are we NOT surprised?
How can it be right that politicians who are landlords also get to vote on legislation about rents and housing? Is this not a conflict of interest? @rtenews #rtenews

Reading your column this time was like a return visit to the magical festival.
Our recent @waterfordspraoi festival was amazing. I share my thoughts and memories on attending it since it was founded 30years ago. Again this year so many amazing performances. Fun, laughter and something for all the family. My column in this week's @munsterexpress #Waterford

In every field of life we need to take responsibility for our work.
How is it not feasible to pursue those developers and builders who built those defective apartments? So again the tax payers is expected to pick up the tab while those responsible get away with this. @rtenews #rtenews

Don't put off making time to have quality time with loved ones. Make those precious memories while you can.@StanPhillips20 and I do that regularly. Because I nearly lost Stan in 2004 when he had a quadruple bypass. Which put a new perspective on life. My column @munsterexpress

facing a 33% rent hike. Living in a small town in the west. There are no alternatives available, this should also be a rent pressure zone. At the very least it should not be legal to increase rent by 1/3… #HousingCrisis #irishhousing

Please sign the petition, and share the tweet. This shabby behaviour must be stopped.
Will you help me stop the cut of #AIB cash services in #Waterford, bank branches in #Tramore, #Ardkeen and #Lismore This will impact greatly on many #olderpeople and those in #RuralIreland many who have also had post offices closed in recent years. my.uplift.ie/petitions/stop-…

What AIB are planning needs to be stopped otherwise the others will follow, and the life for so many people becomes unnecessarily challenged.
I have been writing about the impact the push to create a cashless society, online banking and automation across society is having. Our choice is being taken away, we must resist this. #TonightVMTV

Some families with loved ones isolated during heatwave were told fans can't be used as covid is airborne. Other homes are saying a fan on low setting will not spread covid. What's the protocol? Safe adequate ventilation should be a priority. @HIQA @MaryButlerTD @Orla_Hegarty

It is certainly NOT about the welfare, and the views of the non- partisan electorate!!!
Is it about self preservation, party loyalty or standing with the people on issues impacting on their lives?. The choice is up to each TD to decide! #dailvote #NoConfidenceMotion

What happened indeed?
On top of the cost of living families are now having to face finding the money to get children back to school. In my column I ask, 'What happened to free education' in Ireland? To start with the government needs to provide #freebooks for children. @Corks96FM @PatKennyNT
