The EU is calling on international partners to join the EU-led “No Fees/No Tolls” pledge to reject coercive, unilateral actions and oppose unlawful fees, tolls and restrictions that hamper lawful navigation. International straits are global lifelines, keeping trade, energy supplies and essential goods moving around the world. Freedom of navigation is a shared global interest. At the margins of #PreCOP31 in Nadi, Amb @BPlinkertEU met with @GGGIPacific and @unwomenpacific on cooperation, including rural electrification across 6 Pacific countries, Fiji’s Climate Change Act, infrastructure safeguards, EVAW and gender-sensitive access to climate finance.
