Recognising the lack of ethnic diversity within the RSLT profession and need for better representation, RAD provided a bursary to support 4 deaf people to become Registered Sign Language Translators and Interpreter Relay Intralingual. We thank Ahmed Mudawi for the kind comments!

We need to get behind @KatielittleJ campaign for free BSL classes for parents/guardians of deaf children. Let’s reach 100,000 signatures by 3rd April: petition.parliament.uk/petit… RT widely.
For free BSL classes with support from @NDCS_UK @grahamhturner Dept of ed has no plans to provide free classes, gvt not sure who’s responsible for those classes. BSL is a beautiful language, no need to grieve for having deaf child & shd not force deaf to adapt to hearing ways
