Today we lit up all of the 5 C’s when comparing fiction and nonfiction text. Students collaborated in comparing examples of both types of text and shared their findings with their classmates! @BSTElementary

We’ve been working through our poetry unit studying line breaks, similes, metaphors & personification. I am loving how students are creating their own poems to go with a visual image to showcase their learning! Today we went to the pool. @BSTElementary

Today we dove deeper into poetry by creating Six Room poems. Students took their happy place and looked at it through six different “lens” before creating their own original poems. Their creativity is beyond amazing! @BSTElementary
