BTCS is Poland’s first and largest publicly listed blockchain infrastructure validator, traded on the Warsaw Stock Exchange’s NewConnect.
Our model is institutional by design: operating validator nodes, securing networks, and reinvesting protocol rewards into a compounding treasury.
A regulated, transparent path to digital asset income, designed to deliver sustainable returns and strengthen shareholder value.
"Our Active Treasury model has one rule: the bitcoin on our balance sheet should earn more bitcoin.” Marlena Lipińska, CEO of BTCS S.A.
As CMCC Global announced on 22 October, we have agreed to serve as anchor investor in its Liberty Bitcoin Accumulation Fund (LBAF), intending to allocate an undisclosed triple-digit bitcoin amount for the fund's launch via Bitfinex Securities.
LBAF is designed for investors who measure returns in bitcoin. According to CMCC Global, it targets net annualised returns of 8-12% in bitcoin terms.
CMCC Global was founded in 2016 in Hong Kong as one of Asia's first investment managers focused solely on blockchain investments.
On 21 October, we reported signing a memorandum of understanding with CMCC Global SPC on this planned investment (ESPI 29/2026). The memorandum is substantially non-binding, and the investment remains subject to further arrangements and regulatory requirements.

„Nasz model Active Treasury ma jedną zasadę: bitcoiny w naszym bilansie powinny zarabiać kolejne bitcoiny.” Marlena Lipińska, Prezes Zarządu BTCS S.A.

The MiCA transitional period for crypto-asset service providers ended on 1 July 2026.
MiCA covers specific crypto-asset services, such as custody, exchange and order execution, not every activity involving crypto-assets. Some regulated firms, such as banks and investment firms, can provide some of these services on a different legal basis.
Before working with a counterparty, it is worth checking which services it provides and on what legal basis.
16 of the 20 largest digital asset treasury companies had an mNAV below 1 on 21 September 2026, according to DWF Ventures data cited by Cointelegraph.
mNAV compares a company's market value with the value of the crypto-assets it holds. The group includes companies holding different crypto-assets, not only Bitcoin.
Our Strategy Advisor Wojciech Kaszycki (@wkaszycki) is speaking at The Future of Capital Markets: Lugano 2026 on Thursday, 22 October, on the panel “Trends Shaping Tokenised Markets”.
Five questions any Bitcoin treasury should ask a counterparty before signing:
1. Are you regulated or licensed for the services you provide, and in which jurisdiction?
2. Who holds the assets?
3. Are they segregated from yours?
4. What's the legal claim if you fail?
5. How fast can we exit?
A great yield answers none of them.
Buying Bitcoin loudly is a tax the buyer pays to the market.
One large order sits on the order book where everyone can see it, and it can move the price before it is filled. Splitting the same amount into smaller trades may reduce market visibility and market impact.
Neither approach guarantees a better price. How an order is executed is part of what it costs to buy.

Some companies use borrowing to build their Bitcoin treasury. Debt is a normal financing tool. What matters is how it is planned.
Three things to get right:
- a repayment date that fits the company's plans
- collateral terms that still work if the Bitcoin price falls
- cash set aside for repayment, so Bitcoin never has to be sold at a bad moment
Every loan has a due date. Good treasury management plans for it from day one.
"Crypto yield" makes validator income sound like a coupon. It's paid for work, and the work can go wrong.
We run validator infrastructure. A short thread on what the job involves:
