BITCOIN 101: UNDERSTANDING BITCOIN
#Bitcoin is an open-source protocol that enables peer-to-peer transactions without the need for intermediaries. The network is secured through cryptography and operates on a public ledger known as the blockchain.

I’m fighting against fiat and for sound money for planet earth. Won’t ever stop

BIP110 was not to fight spam. It was to prevent CSAM attacks.
BLAKE2b wasn't either - it was to restore functionality to the network after the miners attacked it.
Neither was the long maturity - that was to fight Stratum pooling.
Bitcoin fights spam with filters. And it's very effective. From nearly 2 MB of spam per block to 120k is a 94% reduction. And as you notice, Plumb is paving the way to reduce it further.
Spam is still bad, but no longer a serious problem for Bitcoin.
I truly respect @knutsvanholm for trying to reason with these dummies.
I will never.

Please never forget how taproot scriptsig played out….
We promoted it for things it was never used for. It was used 99% for spam. And then we said “we didn’t specify a use-case, so it’s fine”
Specify the use-case for the new OP_BS. If not used as intended, remove OP_BS

Watch how institutional power is not merely normalized, but openly celebrated in Bitcoin's social layer.
Wealth, status, access, and proximity to power are elevated, while Bitcoin's founding principles, including sovereignty and the separation of money and state, are ridiculed.
The values of the fiat system Bitcoin was created to challenge are being repackaged as Bitcoin's path to success.
On November 5, Mars Spits Bars takes this worldview to BTC Inc's Bitcoin Amsterdam, on a Whale Pass-only panel titled:
“BIG BITCOIN: IN CONTROL?”
The CAPTURE articles documents the institutional relationships and mechanisms of influence.
Bitcoin's social layer is the final line of defense against complete institutional capture.
But if that very social layer is being conditioned to celebrate institutional power, ridicule principled opposition, and attack those exposing its concentration, who exactly is left to resist it?

CAPTURE Part 4: THE MACHINE
The fourth and final installment is out.
Bitcoin Magazine wasn’t just covering the fight over Bitcoin’s future. Its parent operated an Ordinals trading desk, invested in businesses tied to the ecosystem, and maintained editorial policies that exempted parts of that same business.
Then came an $80,000/month marketing contract, with an option for Nakamoto Inc. to buy BTC Inc at a valuation tied to its earnings, in a window that included the OP_RETURN fight. Nakamoto exercised the option.
Readers were not consistently told about these commercial relationships.
A documented investigation into the commercial interests and media infrastructure surrounding the Bitcoin Core controversy.

🚨 AlphaPool XBT Miners!🚨
Below is a video tutorial (Chinese subtitled) showing everyone the fastest, easiest, and cheapest way to ensure you are mining to YOUR OWN Node+DATUM (client).
This method is 100% compliant with Knots community standards and is a massive step towards a TRULY decentralized mining pool integration. HUGE shout out to @cguida6 @LukeDashjr @SpectrGen SkyHawk and the rest of you, you know who you are! 😄
The knots team has been instrumental in helping me get this setup in a way that is truly decentralized and I am extremely grateful for that. Its been really neat working together the last week or two and I like the direction things are going! 💪
Miners, if you have any questions please ping me on Discord, DM me here, or on TG. There are a portion of you who still need to spin up your own nodes and DATUM clients, this is extremely time sensitive and urgent. AlphaPools temporary free trial DATUMs we be shutting down very soon so we need to move quickly! I will be here to help anyone who has any questions along the way. Thank you! 🙏

Spamcoin launched Aug 8th. The former miners left Bitcoin for their airdrop scamcoin.
Bitcoin continued on. The BLAKE2b HF wasn't until Aug 30, and there was no split over it.
SPAMCOIN does nothing about this. Buying $NVDA would be a better hedge than buying bitcoin:native if you are worried about how the federal government will pay for its debts.

Luke, declining CAGR is consistent with a maturing asset; it doesn’t prove fiat control. Derivatives can influence price, but they can’t change Bitcoin’s supply cap. My thesis remains growing adoption of scarce digital capital.
Most people will become a BIP-110er on a long enough timeline.

IMO more Bitcoiners should spend more time on understanding that if "digital credit" is developed it will ensure BTC never goes to $1m
That may even be the point of "digital credit."
But Bitcoiners would be well-served to study "credit gold" that began in London in mid-80s
