We are hiring for another CAM programmer. If in Charlotte, NC, even better. Fusion, CAMWorks and MasterCAM are all viable options.

Interesting article and what I would consider a very un-American opinion. In unrelated news, I have just launched my new company focused on ensuring access to drones and their subcomponets for American civilians. Our right to fly, build, and develop new technology cannot be restricted or we doom ourselves to forever lag behind in this critical field. Tempus Edax Rerum Ter-drones.com
Why call autonomous #drones the “new Kalashnikov”❓ The concern is proliferation. Commercial components, accessible software, global supply chains, and scalable production can distribute increasingly autonomous strike capabilities across armed groups. Gerald Mako examines where governance can intervene in that ecosystem. 📖Read "The New Kalashnikov: Governing the Poor Man’s Autonomous Drone," a #SWJEssay #DroneWarfare

Here is a couple of iterations of the Gameboy Color game! Now we have a soundtrack, game controller configuration & 2 levels! Sound balance needs some work, but what's important is to work in small chunks when developing ANY piece of software! This game was 100% made by THOT using CODEX & it shows how easy THOT is to use! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Now I present you the Gameboy Color game that's loosely based off METAL SLUG. It's only 1 level, but the entire point here is that I wanted to show you guys that MORFMOD'S THOT is very capable of game development. I also wanted to show you guys that you don't need a CHROMATIC to do Gameboy or Gameboy Color Game development. Get yourself a GBC Everdrive , download THOT & start making the next greatest Gameboy Color game! 😍😍😍

This is my first full week in our new office at Mericron! I am no longer a part of the daily operations at Miltech Manufacturing, but will remain on the board of directors to support their efforts. I would not be here on this journey without the Miltech family and the support from all of you on X, so thank you! We are building an open secure wireless chispset to support American innovativors and industrialists here at @Mericron. More updates soon. I just want to give a shout out to a few good folks on X who encouraged me to start this journey and say thank you personally: @Abhindas1 @Tyler_Plummer @MFG_SMB @EliChodock @zanehengsperger @WesleyP91308 @1a1n1d1y @nkhormaei @Vernon3Austin And especially to my co-founder @ethan_avalon! We will win, because this is hard, and we are crazy! I am finally living the American dream, building something amazing. More hardware and a sick office sign arrive this week to support our engineering efforts courtesy of @sendcutsend and @rmfgdotcom.

@YamahaOutboards @stevewilldoit @elonmusk @cb_doge @MercuryMarine @Honda @SuzukiOutboards @boatsdotcom @RangerBoats @OutboardXchange @oceanx @TimTebow Hello everyone, My name is Michael and I’m a combat veteran with a lifelong love of the water. In June 2027 I’m launching a long-held dream: running the entire Great Loop — roughly 6,000 miles around the eastern United States — in a small boat with a close friend. We’ll be running 24/7 as safely as possible, using night vision and careful planning, with the goal of completing the journey as efficiently as we can. This is not a luxury trip. It’s a personal challenge, a test of endurance, and a way for me to push forward after my time in the service. The boat is modest, the budget is tight, and the biggest ongoing costs will be fuel, spare parts, basic food, and unexpected repairs along the way. I’m asking for help with the practical expenses that will keep us moving safely: • Fuel for the long river, lake, and coastal stretches • Spare parts and emergency repairs • Simple food and supplies for the crew • Any unexpected mechanical or safety needs that come up Every dollar will go directly toward the trip. I’ll keep supporters updated throughout the journey so you can follow along and see exactly where the funds are going as one of our main goals would be to secure a 4 stroke 115hp or higher outboard motor to help reduce repairs & downtime among having a safe & fast adventure finishing the loop in record time! If you’re able to contribute, even a small amount, it would mean a great deal. If you can’t give financially, simply sharing this page helps more than you know. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for any support you’re able to offer. It truly means a lot. Respectfully, Michael Zachary Combat Veteran Great Loop 2027

A $180 QUASI-DIRECT DRIVE JOINT JUST HUMILIATED A $12,000 INDUSTRIAL GEARBOX ZERO BACKLASH EXPLOSIVE REVERSAL SUB-MILLISECOND FOC Legacy automation spent decades convincing labs that dynamic torque requires fragile harmonic drives and locked industrial servo cabinets. An open-source brushless actuator running bare-metal field-oriented control just shattered that myth on a wooden desk. A low-reduction stage paired with a high-torque outrunner delivers near-zero backlash, full mechanical transparency, and extreme angular acceleration. When violent shock loads hit, the joint backdrives instantly instead of stripping fragile precision gear teeth. Industrial monopolies trap factories in closed ecosystems at 90% margins while open hardware turns dynamic robotics into commodity silicon.

This might be one of the coolest corners of additive manufacturing I’ve somehow never looked into. @FirehawkAero is 3D printing solid rocket propellant grains. Not the nozzle. Not the case. The actual energetic material. When propellant geometry becomes digitally manufacturable, you can start treating burn profiles almost like another design parameter. Absolutely insane industry.🤝

Most IoT and automation projects run on a Chinese chip. Cole Studer (@photoncmndr) got tired of that, so he's building an American one, while also modernizing a CNC shop in rural Kansas that builds for aerospace and defense. EP 026 is live. rumble.com/v7fi7og-modernize…

Around 200 people fell from the World Trade Center on September 11th. Not one of them is recorded as a suicide. That is not sentiment. That is the official finding of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of the City of New York, and it is written on the death certificates. All 2,753 deaths at the World Trade Center were ruled homicides. Every single one. The people who went out the windows are counted in that number exactly the same as the people who were killed on impact, the people crushed in the collapse, and the firefighters in the stairwells. The medical examiner's office was asked about this directly and gave one of the clearest answers any government agency has ever given about anything. A jumper, they said, is somebody who goes to the office in the morning knowing that they are going to kill themselves. These people were forced out by the smoke and flames, or blown out. That distinction is the whole thing. Almost all of them came from the North Tower. Flight 11 hit it at 8:46 and severed all three stairwells above the 91st floor, which meant that everyone above that line was sealed in a burning building for 102 minutes with no route down and no possibility of rescue from above. Fires in parts of those floors reached temperatures over 1,000 degrees. People broke windows to get air. They hung out of them. They waved curtains and tablecloths and jackets so the city would know they were there. Then the heat and the smoke reached them, and they had a choice between two ways to die in the next few seconds, and they picked the one with open air in it. Some of them went out holding hands with the person next to them. The most famous photograph of it was taken by Richard Drew of the Associated Press at 9:41:15 in the morning. It ran once, on page seven of the New York Times, on September 12, 2001. The public reaction was so hostile that American newspapers essentially buried the image for years and it became the one part of that day nobody would look at. The man in it has never been formally identified. The best evidence points to Jonathan Briley, 43, a sound engineer at Windows on the World on the 106th floor, identified by his brother and by the restaurant's chef from his build and his clothing. So this is worth saying plainly on the anniversary. The country spent 25 years being uncomfortable with those images and quietly avoiding the subject. The medical examiner never wavered for a second. Their position from the beginning was that those people were murdered, by the men who flew the planes, as surely as everyone else in the building, and the state of New York has never recorded it any other way. They did not jump. They were killed.

JUST IN: A satellite carrying four 3D printers is set to resume manufacturing directly in the vacuum of space, with the next tests attempting to build meter-scale structures from orbit. Orbital Matter’s Replicator 2 has completed its first extrusion in orbit and is including structures designed to deploy an antenna and unfold a solar array as they grow. The technology uses a liquid polymer extruded in space and hardened by UV light. Orbital Matter ultimately wants to manufacture 100-meter+ structures supporting 100-kW solar arrays, with a follow-on mission targeting 3-meter beams and a 1-kW array before the end of 2027. By around 2030, its roadmap extends to kilometer-scale solar arrays and radiators for massive infrastructure including orbital data centers and space stations. For decades, spacecraft have been constrained by what engineers can fold inside a rocket fairing. The Orbital Matter concept aims to launch the machine that builds space infrastructure directly in space.

🇺🇸 This is what American power looks like. 14-year-old Laura Montero’s appendix burst 550 miles from the nearest surgeon while on a cruise off Baja. The USS Ronald Reagan — a nuclear aircraft carrier with thousands of sailors — changed course overnight, launched a helicopter, hoisted her off the cruise ship in a basket, and performed emergency surgery at sea. She was already septic. They saved her life. That’s the U.S. Navy. That’s what we do. Never apologize for this country.
