I’m so proud to witness world class artists like @sleeprarts coming from @solana
The city of London is falling in love with this extraordinary collection exhibited on 15 Bateman Street.
What a feeling to open to the public see strangers laugh and cry before this body of work.

This year is probably one of my most productive years. When I first started, there was always conversation around how wary artists should be about style consistency, supply, etc. The more I thought about it, the less art I made.
Images have slowly lost their scarcity with the advent of AI art, and you can argue that it has lost all scarcity even way before then the moment mechanical reproductions existed. But I am one person with a brush and I can't possibly outrun a machine in terms of output. Do I really need to ask myself if I'm creating too much art?

Some slight compositional changes made, moderate background texture added, probably just a few subtle bits to add/change before it’s finished. Trying to keep things relatively minimal.

Make art that is the antithesis of doomscrolling.
Art that requires thought, art only full felt when given pause, which holds as bulwark against this mental erosion
Make art that makes a mockery of 1.5 second attention spans and smash cut content.
Make, in a world that takes.

Think I’ll dedicate my 2027 to the pursuit of shoving my art down the throat of every gallery I can find an email for.
Tired of producing artistically mature work in an immature space

One of the real solaces of pursuing creativity, is knowing that when the time comes to look back on your life, you’ll have at least made something.
