In just one week, Man City fans went from … 🟢 We’re not guilty! Not a chance! 🔵 These leaks are just rumours. 🟡 114 charges are all false! 🟠 We’re guilty but they can’t punish us, we’re too big. 🔴 If Man City are punished, Britain will suffer because the UAE will come down hard on them. See how psychotic this whole thing is?

If you can’t argue the facts, argue the law… City argued at CAS that all the sponsorship money came from the sponsors rather than the government to then come back and argue years later that it was actually government money given to the sponsors… So what’s changed? The key difference is that the PL had access to more evidence than UEFA because City were forced, after several court cases, to hand it all over. That’s why senior people at Etihad were happy to testify at CAS when their names on the leaked emails were redacted, but seemingly were less interested in doing so in front of the IC who had all the evidence presented to them to counter it from the PL. This is why the verdict so clearly states that they believed that this defence was created after the fact to try and defend the charges, and legal professionals in these circumstances don’t make factual statements unless they have the evidence to back it up. All this information is publicly available, and the fact that they’re trotting this failed strategy out again should highlight how much trouble they’re in. At this point it’s all about image and ego.

Ferran Soriano, the man Pep just backed is CC’d in the email below clearly showing a City staff member instruct how to divide payments between Etihad and “ADUG” (Ownership). Ferran was aware of it all. Image 2 shows a City employee clearly trying to hide the ADUG money. INSANE.

Manchester City face calls for a criminal investigation into their financial conduct after being found guilty of more than 100 breaches of Premier League rules between 2009 and 2018. Lord Cruddas, a Conservative party peer whose CMC Markets company is Everton’s front-of-shirt sponsor, suggested that this should become a criminal matter. “If accounts have been falsified and auditors have been misled, then it is potentially a criminal matter. The auditors will call in the police, directors are personally libel [sic] for any fraud of a UK company, even if it is foreign owned.” 🔗: telegraph.co.uk/football/202…
