I love dogs. Pit Bulls, I stay away from. The only people who defend them are pitt bull owners. I never looked up the stats (until just now). But it seems pit bulls (not surprisingly) are implicated in roughly 65% to 66% of all U.S. dog-bite-related fatalities.

I've seen this clip. Believe it or not, I'm pretty sure the guy stuck his finger up the dog's ass to get him to release. Look it up. It's actually a thing. You can see one guy go for it, then another guy does (something), and the dog releases.

Maybe you'd like it if it were cricket.
