I love playing around with the sequence I play the preludes and fugues in for this project. But on a sunny morning with light streaming through the windows it just has to be this one first 🥰

My monster project to play all 48 preludes and fugues in all 48 counties of England @BachProject48 is ongoing and has so far raised over £30,000 for these brilliant organisations. It has been one of the most challenging and rewarding musical projects of my career to date!

Thank you SO much my brilliant friend of 25 yrs @cathylamb_org for making this happen. Such attentive kind audiences. Loved the guy who sighed appreciatively after each fugue, & the one telling me his story of help from @HelpMusicians, reminding me why I’m doing @BachProject48 🥰

Pretty much the perfect sky to walk offstage to after finishing a complete Bach 48. 💜 Still haven’t really worked out how to put my thoughts about this music into words but it’s basically the universe really. Thank you so much @LichfieldCSchl @cathylamb_org. Staffordshire ✅

.@Libby_Burgess is undertaking a monumental challenge: performing Bach’s epic "48" in every one of England’s 48 counties to raise funds for musical charities.
This weekend we are delighted to have Libby with us, performing 4 very special shows in Cornwall
