Around 185 Catholic graves were vandalized at a cemetery in Corbeil-Essonnes, south of Paris, on October 31, just hours before All Saints' Day, when families traditionally visit the graves of their deceased loved ones.
Crosses were ripped from graves, statues of angels were destroyed, memorial plaques were smashed, and funeral ornaments were stolen. According to initial police reports, the destruction exclusively affected Catholic graves.
A 58-year-old Indian national living in Grigny was arrested by municipal police at approximately 1:40 p.m. after returning to the cemetery following an earlier incident in which he damaged a grave.
Police found that the suspect had collected objects from the graves in two bags.
The man's behavior raised concerns about his psychiatric condition, and a doctor determined that he was unfit for police custody. He was subsequently referred for involuntary psychiatric hospitalization.

Ursula von der Leyen describes €10 TRILLION in household bank deposits as “idle” savings that should help finance European companies.
Idle? For families, those savings mean emergency funds, retirement security and years of sacrifice.
To me, this language reveals a troubling attitude: private savings viewed as a resource for political ambitions.
The proposals do not establish confiscation or transfers to Ukraine. But Brussels must explain where investment would flow—including whether any schemes would finance Ukraine-related commitments—and who would bear the losses.
Investment must remain voluntary. Consent must be meaningful. Risks must be clear.

This moment of today’s budget read is disgraceful.
If the politicians standing and clapping actually cared about the workers who are affected by the tariffs they would have been tirelessly working to get a deal done over the last 18 months instead of purposely sabotaging it. Using tax dollars to prop them up shouldn’t be celebrated, it was literally the easiest thing they could have done. Give away money. And they all want to be thanked. It’s gross.

🚨 Lithuania and Latvia have launched mass evacuation drills to prepare for a possible war
Under the exercise scenario, a growing military threat in the Baltic region requires the urgent evacuation of civilians across the border into a neighboring country.
Up to 100 volunteers are taking part. Today, they are being transported from Daugavpils, Latvia, to Pasvalys, Lithuania. On November 10, the evacuation will be rehearsed in the opposite direction — from Šiauliai, Lithuania, to Ķekava, Latvia.
Meanwhile, the European Commission has issued recommendations for preparing for major crises. EU residents are advised to stock up on enough water, food, medicine, and other essentials to survive independently for at least 72 hours during an emergency.
At the same time, a wave of false bomb threats has swept across European flights. On November 5 alone, at least 18 flights were affected. Some aircraft were forced to divert, while one flight was redirected to a French military airbase.
European authorities are investigating the incidents.

My overall opinion is that all these ridiculous foreign culture, religious, and special interest group “weeks and months” AND “flags at half mast” need to be eradicated immediately.
Once upon a time, such observances were solely dedicated to purely ethnic Anglo/Franco Canadian historic and traditional events, such as Remembrance Day or Christmas Day or Canada Day!
Our lackadaisical and complacent acceptance of foreign cultures has only served to create a bitter quagmire and leaves our longstanding Canadian traditions with less depth, less connection, and less meaning overall.
Our history is dying.
The infiltration needs to end!
