September 9, 1999. 27 years ago today, we launched @SEGA Dreamcast in the United States.
We believed we were launching the future. And for a while, it felt like we were.
Dreamcast may not have won the battle, but it left an extraordinary mark on gaming and on everyone fortunate enough to be part of it.
I’m incredibly proud of what we created, and even more grateful for the people who made it happen.
27 years on, still dreaming. ❤️ #Dreamcast #Sega

To give a frame of reference , TTC’s lawyers are *not* people you would want to pick a fight with here. They’re up there with Nintendo lawyers in how badly they’ll anally ream you out, if you dare to challenge them.
They’re sued and won against people even daring to make a game remotely similar to Tetris, straight up clones included. And won. Multiple times.
