Neighbor bestie is sick. Asked me to come over last night. I told him that I miss him, but not until he's no longer sick. He immediately respected that and said "2 weeks?" I wish people in my life took precautions, but he was honest about being sick and respected my boundary.

I fell Friday and it's made that injury from when I fell down the steps in December a lot worse. Which makes everything worse. I'm not really able to walk much anymore. I've just been bouncing between crying/screaming in pain and pushing through it.

Partner is upset with me. Yes, it does happen. So my neighbor is making me feel better by us playing Magic and building Legos with his son. It includes after hours pizza at the pizza shop. I adore him for being a great best friend.

No Magic was had and he had to tap out about 30 minutes into our movie. His kid was already passed out. I was a great night. Perfect to take my mind off of things. Those two are such cool cats.

Felt a migraine coming on last night. The shit pressure here and my PMDD took me out. I couldn't even walk once it hit. Slept on the couch after taking meds. So thankfully my mom and Anastasia gave me some years ago. Finally came to and got the cleaning I needed to do done.

Ugh, no! Ellie usually takes pills in cheese. Break them up, make a ball, have some without a pill in it, and she loves that. Until today. So now I have to shove the pill down her throat and hold her mouth closed while blowing in her nose and rubbing her throat so she swallows 1/

Like, okay. Yeah, I've done this a lot. Both as a vet tech and when I worked at a pet resort (very fancy boarding kennel). Even had a Chow bite me while doing it at the kennel. But I'm cool with it because it's needed. 2/

I still feel like a monster doing it to Ellie. She's the first of mine I've needed to do it with. And with the injections I'm giving her, I just feel so horrible. I know it's good for her, of course. But I hate doing it to my pets. She's already forgiven me, though. 3/3

I bought a present for my neighbor's youngest kid and, as usual, ended up gabbing for hours. I was supposed to make baked mac and cheese, but it was so late he decided to make me a boli. For those of y'all that don't know, my neighbor owns the pizza shop next door. 1/

This is why I love my little farm country area. We do stuff like this for each other. Granted, the workers I've known since I was two now think my neighbor and I are hooking up, but that's their problem. He's seriously like my bestie these days. Always around for me. 4/4
