Last week I gave my maiden speech in Parliament. It is a privilege to represent the place where I was born and raised, which made me who I am. Knowsley is my priority. I will work as hard as I can and do my best for you.

I first went to London aged 10 on a school trip and we visited Downing Street; my ten year old self would not have guessed that one day I’d be asked to speak inside this amazing building!

A UK home can have zero energy bills with a heat pump, solar and some smart automation. We're aiming to build 100,000 Zero Bill Homes by 2030. It's not a far-flung dream: people are living in these homes already. We built that one 👇 in two days.

Starlight Express was the first musical I watched, aged 10 on a school trip. 30 years on and I still know every word of that original soundtrack! Thank you @Starlightlondon for the most incredible show and for giving me the chance to pass on the joy to my children!

We are one of the 5600 owners of these wind turbines, such an exciting moment to see them go into operation and start producing green energy
Ripple (@RippleEnergy) profile pictureRipple@RippleEnergy30 Apr 2024
We're celebrating a huge moment today. Kirk Hill Wind Farm has officially generated power for the first time ⚡️As the UK's largest people-owned wind farm in operation, 5,600 owners made this happen. With each member owning an average of a credit card sized slice of this incredible wind farm, they are actively changing the landscape of green energy in the UK. That's real climate action to be proud of 👏 Want to join them in the green energy revolution? The share offer for Whitelaw Brae wind farm is open now: bit.ly/3TfGstk
