Real talk with Lola. Rescue is freakin hard. Mom is trying hard to get better about saying no. She’s got some medical stuff going on, has her other job, has all of us here. Funds are limited. Space is limited. But this week, which one of these faces would you have said no to? Inkie- she initially said no, another rescue will snatch her up. A few days later found out no one had and she was being kept outside. Rylie- had a 1:30 scheduled euthanasia appointment because the owner didn’t want him and was living without utilities or much food for months. Onyx- kept on a chain, hit regularly, owners threatening to abandon him. Dolly- 10 yo, blind & deaf girl with mammary masses in a high TX kill shelter. Well mom couldn’t say no ta any of them.
