This project started in 2015, when I first came to Duke and found out that such a Textbook does not exist. From A-Z form idea to reality, with the tremendous global effort of more than 200 authors, a strong publication @WileyGlobal, and my unbelievable co-editors.
I am proud to announce that the most comprehensive textbook on heart and lung end stage disease is OUT!
This unique and important project started years ago by acknowledging the need and making all those involved agree that this Textbook should be written!!!
My gratitude to RALPH SNYDERMAN, M.D. and Allan Kirk for opening the doors at the right places, to the Wiley team for their continuous support, and to the many writers for their work, emails, rewriting etc.
