Looking forward to seeing my @whoop data!!! Thanks for getting this started at @UCSF @BarbHamiltonMD !!! – at San Francisco, CA
What a feeling! And what a privilege! To have trained with the best and to have been supported by the most incredible team - it's been the best marathon of my life... and thrilling to be arriving at the REAL start line!
After 9.5 years of training, birth of two children, a handful of midnight emergencies, and lots of CT surgery, today was @BarbHamiltonMD's last day as @ucsf cardiothoracic surgery fellow. Incredibly proud of her. We look forward to seeing more of her soon.

Important article on surgeon ergonomics written by our CT fellow Barbara Hamilton and medical student @midairywala. Appropriate loupes and table height is only a small part of the equation. @STS_CTsurgery @UCSFHospitals @UCSFSurgery
"Despite the obvious parallels to high-performance sports, CT surgery as a specialty has been slow to openly talk about the physical suffering that surgeons endure." Check out a new blog article on how to achieve healthy ergonomics. bit.ly/3txePfL
