Jesus did not water down His message or try to compromise. He spoke truth and invited all to follow Him but there were 3 different responses to Him. Those who chose to walk with Him Those who chose to walk away And those who nailed Him to a tree.

What she said....
There’s a Christian news site I keep seeing ads for. Their whole value proposition is about how they don’t have a partisan bias. They say things like: “There are 1.5M+ Christians who don’t want their faith fused to a certain party. So we don’t do that.” “As a Christian who can no longer align with either major political party, I’ve realized I don’t want my news reinforcing a political identity.” “If you’re a Christian who doesn’t feel at home in either party…” I have not used this news service, so what I’m about to say is not an evaluation of the service itself. But I want to comment on how naïve and detrimental this messaging is. On the surface, these statements appeal to many Christians because they sound good. “Hey, I don’t want my faith fused to a political party! I don’t want my news reinforcing a political identity! I disagree with things in both parties and don’t feel ‘home’ anywhere!” All of this presupposes that non-partisanship is the ideal for Christians—that we shouldn’t align with one side more than another in our two-party system because our allegiance to Jesus transcends earthly politics. This is both poor logic and poor theology. Of course our allegiance to Jesus as Lord and Savior transcends earthly politics. Who Jesus is, what He has done, and our relationship with Him is the starting point for all things in the Christian life. But putting Jesus first doesn’t somehow make us politically neutral by default. To the contrary, putting Jesus first means the Christian CANNOT be politically neutral! It means that we understand and apply what God’s Word says about the God-given role of government to promote good and restrain evil (Romans 13). The specifics of what we advocate for in society as Christians depend on the time and place in which we live. As Christians in the US, we have an incredible opportunity to influence government toward promoting good and restraining evil through our ability to vote. And contrary to the non-partisan “feel good” speak of websites like the one I keep seeing ads for, the two political parties we have are in no way equivalent such that it makes any biblical sense to appeal to non-partisanship as some kind of Christian virtue. Both parties are incredibly flawed, feature corrupt politicians, typically move at a snail’s pace, and will never be perfectly aligned with how Christians would want a society to run. But they are NOT morally equivalent in their visions for how society should function—what it means to be a human, the nature of freedom, the definition of marriage, the nature of parental rights, the role of the state, the nature of public education, the definition of human rights, and so much more. The progressive views of the Democratic party will move the country further and further away from biblical views on all of these issues. That doesn’t imply the Republican party will always move things toward the biblical view (plenty of times it doesn’t), but it does mean the parties have vastly different philosophies that guide their general direction and Christians need to clearly understand that progressivism is fundamentally at odds with a biblical worldview. Your faith isn’t “fused” to a political party, disproportionately “aligned” with a political party, or feeling too “at home” with a political party by recognizing this. Be very skeptical of any person or organization who tries to convince you otherwise. VOTE like your country depends on it. It does.

🚨 JUST IN: VP JD Vance MIC DROPS European bureaucrats and fake news attacking Elon Musk, then BEGGING for him to unleash Starlink for Ukraine "I do find it a little IRONIC that the European countries who have NOTHING like the technology that Elon has developed in Starlink...these countries have almost universally decided to wage regulatory and licensing WAR against SpaceX. And now they're all running to SpaceX saying, 'please do what we need you to do?!'" 🔥🔥🔥 "European countries depend on American technology, American businesses, and the American military, while at the same time European political leaders love to bash the United States allies that they depend upon so much!" "Elon Musk runs a private corporation. And I think it's completely understandable that he doesn't want to get in the middle of what is a war between two state actors without the United States government effectively directing him on what to do." @ElonMusk is their favorite guy to bash...then they turn around and act entitled to his technology. Same countries that want to fine and regulate him into oblivion! This comes right after WSJ claimed that Musk ordered a Starlink slowdown that caught Ukraine off guard. Because of course they'd claim that! The EU fined X under its Digital Services Act and has spent years going after Elon. Now Europe needs his satellites 🤡 They can't have it both ways. Vance nailed it.

A true follower of Christ would take the man into his own home, feed him dinner & give him money out of his own pocket. Christians themselves are to care for the stranger, not the government. When we give the government that job, we are abandoning our own duty!

It will hurt my heart but I will be watching. Jesus really did this voluntarily. He was not acting and then going home to his own bed. See how much He loves us!!
This is it. We’re at the toughest part. Season Six covers the 24 hours of the events surrounding Jesus’ death. It was painful to shoot, and it’s painful to contemplate. But if there’s one thing I want you to take away from this season, it’s that Jesus chose this path. He even tells the apostles he could be rescued from it if he wanted. He chose surrender and humility and sacrifice. Knowing that should make this story a little less painful. Starting November 15th on @PrimeVideo, you’ll experience the climax of what’s been building for five seasons. Season Five was the powder keg. In Season Six, it explodes. —Dallas

Jesus is not a fake god. He is a historical figure with strong contemporary attestation, claimed divinity through resurrection accounts that launched the world's largest religion, and stands apart from the purely mythological figures in that image.

Yes. Based on the biblical record and historical evidence for the empty tomb and post-resurrection appearances, I affirm that Jesus is the Son of God and that God raised him from the dead.

I got pregnant at 20 was in my third year in college and I was Pro Choice at the time bc I believe the bullshit. Once I found out I was pregnant the thought of killing my child was revolting to me. I have three children now and they blessed my life in so many ways. Changed me for the better and taught me what true love really means. I thank Jesus everyday for my children. He had a path for me at 20 years old and I took it. Never looked back. When you trust God and let go, you get beautiful blessings in your life. Get married. Have children. Become a beautiful family. And most of all, trust God’s path for you.

My full speech at the @OxfordUnion debating whether the west is right to be suspicious of Islam. I needed a security team to attend and we were spat at, bullied and heckled by a baying mob. But I will not give up on free speech. I will not submit.

I know a doctor who is currently licensed in the US and her former UK home. She describes the erosion of medical services in her former hospital, noting that lives are being lost due to funding and mismanagement. She's disgusted, and said she'd never go back to the UK.

My wife raised five kids. Two are married now. This week, she wrote out her job description for the new season. Mother of married children. I have not stopped thinking about it. Her list: Love their spouses like my own children. Pray for their marriages. Daily. Encourage them when it gets hard. It gets hard. Never assume authority in their home. I have none there. Never speak a negative word about their spouse. To them or to anybody. Support their decisions as a couple without feeling entitled to an opinion. Model what I want them to become. Character. Forgiveness. Growth. And the last one. The one that costs the most: Accept that I now hold a less important place in my children's lives. And accept it with grace. Twenty-four years married. She learned the hardest job a mother ever gets is the demotion. Nobody teaches this. She just did.

God alone gives rest amd peace. But He can only do that when we fear Him and no one and nothing else.

I always have disliked the idea of hell. But my pastor said something this Sunday that hit me like a ton of bricks… If Hell is not real, the cross is meaningless. Not just meaningless, it’s actually sadistic. It means Jesus died for nothing, because there would be no Hell. But if Hell is real… Then the cross wasn’t a symbol of cruelty. It was the greatest act of love in human history. The cross only makes sense if there is actually something we needed to be saved from. For the first time, I realized that the doctrine of Hell doesn’t diminish God’s love, it makes it unbelievably beautiful, infinitely so. Because if the cost of rescuing us was the cross… then the danger had to be unimaginably real. And it was.

We think of this evil as Marxism. In reality, Marxism is nothing more or less than the current instantiation of a much more ancient evil: possession by the envious and hateful spirit that drove Cain to murder his brother Abel. The great book of Genesis thus portrays mankind as riven by an eternal fratricidal conflict. Those who reject genuine sacrifice become embittered by their subsequent failure ("rejection by God"). Instead of repenting and changing, they turn to revenge. And who do they target? Those who strive to do well and offer what is best. I can't believe how much wisdom the author of Genesis 4 compressed into that story's few sentences. You might even come to believe that God Himself had a hand in it. Truly: it's uncanny. The first two human beings born into history are, respectively, a good, honest productive man and his brother, who allows himself to be consumed by resentment and the desire to destroy. Communism, in a nutshell.

When my oldest was born, they refused to let me hold her because her oxygen levels were low. But I was persistent, and they eventually relented, allowing her to lay on my chest until the NICU nurse came to roll her away. When the nurse arrived, I asked that they check her oxygen levels one more time before taking her. They did. Oxygen: 100%. Perfect. The nurse shrugged and left. Our baby girl was healthy. She just needed me. My heartbeat, my warmth, my touch. She needed her mom. Stories like this aren’t rare. Newborns need their moms to regulate their oxygen and heart rate. That’s why, when at all possible, most doctors and hospitals give baby to mom right away. We know this when it comes to normal births, but when it comes to surrogacy - especially the kind when two men are purchasing a baby from a woman - the baby is immediately and intentionally taken away from his or her mom and given to two strangers. It is not surprising that these babies often undergo complications post-birth. Beyond that, we don’t fully know the physiological and psychological effect of robbing babies of their mothers at birth. It’s worse treatment than we give puppies and kittens, but when it’s for “inclusion,” it’s celebrated. Adoption is one thing - it redeems a broken situation. But surrogacy is another - it intentionally creates the broken situation. Babies’ needs will always matter more than adults’ wants.

🚨 WOW! Dr. ALVEDA KING just said it PERFECTLY on Capitol Hill "I still have a dream. I dream that one day we will move beyond black power and white power and embrace GOD'S power and human dignity!" "I reject the notion that Americans who hold traditional Christian beliefs should be treated as THREATS or TERRORISTS simply because we disagree with a prevailing political thought!" 🙏🏻 "I dream that Americans will one day see each other, not as enemies, but as neighbors. I dream that we will hear each other, see each other, and recognize that every human life has value from the womb to the tomb and beyond." "We are as scripture teaches, one blood, one human race. And if we remember that truth, we can build a future worthy of the sacrifices made by those who came before us." "We must speak out for truth and against the forces that would manufacture hate, fear, division, and violence simply to line their pockets and further their political ambitions." "God bless America, God bless you!" 🇺🇸🇺🇸👏🏻
