Got a toaster that flings toast 1ft into the air for it to then land on the floor, except on this occasion I managed to catch it. All I need now is to be able to squeeze 2 grapefruit halves on a juicer at the same time to “The Stripper” music and you can call me Eric Morecambe – at Birmingham, England

Henry Tudor married for the sixth and final time on this day in 1543 to Katherine Parr. Between them they chalked up 10 weddings! A serious wedding cake addiction I would say, what about you?

16th/17th century bellarmine jug shards - faces, beards and pieces of cartouch, picked up last week on the Thames foreshore. They must have been quite common judging my the number of broken pieces I find on the foreshore.
