The Rev. Charles Harrison, board president of the Indianapolis Ten Point Coalition, shared his reaction on social media, noting it is “sad” that such measures are required due to concerns about violence. He told Circle City Broadcasting that the protocols will be “an inconvenience for a lot of people,” but added they are “appropriate.”

When individuals harbor disapproval due to your achievements
"If the world hates you, know that it hated Me before it hated you." — John 15:19
Devotional Reflection:
It is a subtle and perplexing form of pain to recognize that one's advancement may become a source of disapproval among others. You did not intend to cause hurt; you merely moved through the opportunities provided by God, stewarded the talents bestowed upon you, and reaped the rewards of diligent effort and divine favor. Nevertheless, murmurs may arise, cold shoulders may be shown, and the atmosphere may shift.
When Joseph wore the multicolored coat of favor, his brothers did not perceive his future leadership—instead, they viewed him as a threat to their own standing. Similarly, when Jesus healed the ill and drew large crowds, the religious authorities did not rejoice in the restored lives but instead conspired against Him out of professional and spiritual envy.
If you are experiencing silent exclusion, overt criticism, or outright hostility due to your elevation by God's grace, take comfort: you are in esteemed companionship. Unjust hostility is often the shadow cast by a luminous blessing. People seldom resent you for your failures; rather, they envy the potential and progress they believe themselves unable to attain.
Do not diminish your light to soothe another's insecurity. Do not retreat into the shadows of insignificant expectations merely to maintain peace with those committed to misunderstanding you. Your purpose was never rooted in human approval. Release the necessity to justify yourself to an audience intent on misinterpreting your harvest, and redirect your focus to the One who planted the seed. – at Spring Hill, IN

Morning Devotional:
"Grace That Lifts the Fallen"
Scripture Reading: John 8:1–11
Reflection
The morning arrives with fresh mercies; however, at times, we awaken bearing the heavy burden of previous failures. We recall our mistakes, shortcomings, and the guilt associated with our past.
In John 8, religious leaders bring a woman caught in adultery to Jesus. They present her before a crowd in broad daylight, using her as a test case and weaponizing the law of Moses to entrap Jesus. They point an accusing finger, demanding a verdict of condemnation and stones.
Notice Jesus’ response. He does not raise His voice nor join the angry mob. Instead, He kneels and writes in the dirt with His finger. He meets her in her most vulnerable and exposed moment.
When the accusers persist, Jesus stands and articulates words that transform everything: "Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her." One by one, the accusers withdraw their stones and depart, beginning with the oldest and most self-aware of their guilt.
Ultimately, only Jesus and the woman remain. The One who is sinless—the only One qualified to condemn—gazes at her with eyes of divine love.
He inquires, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"
She responds, "No one, Lord."
Then Jesus speaks the most gracious words her wounded heart could receive: "Neither do I condemn you; go forth and sin no more."
Jesus did not absolve her of her sin but extended His grace. He bore the condemnation she was due so she could begin anew. May we, like Jesus, extend grace to those who have fallen as God has done for us. – at Spring Hill, IN
