I've decided to fix 3 National Open fields, and take pressure off prize money. Win the Australian, Japan, or South African Open, get a guaranteed start in all 4 Majors. To quote someone famous (as opposed to infamous, like that El Guapo chap), "It is finished."

On top of loving the accidental 'intelligent naivety' (Eating the Big Fish), the thing that stands out is that the College pathway "...is not pushed very hard in Australia." It is in every elite sport but golf. Why not golf? Does GA lose funding sending someone off-shore?

What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Not many of these in Scotland. Good taste.

In true PGA Tour style, I couldn't give a stuff about the rest of the world, but if LIV dies, Australia loses a massive festival of golf event, and MyGolf, the GA Junior programme, loses a highly engaged partner in Ripper GC. Love it or hate it, that's bad news down here.

Question for Aussies: Even if LIV 2.0 goes ahead, what's the tipping point of big names leaving before you won't bother attending Adelaide? Does it all come down to Niemann, Smith, and BDC? Or even 1 of the 3?

Like clockwork, the alignment rods have been reinstalled at my local practice facility. Seems they only want us to work on start lines in Summer. Every Winter, they assume we've nailed it and take them away. Go figure.
