Oh my word. Great scoop from City Cast.
Hear it from me and @michaelschaffer first on @CMRobertWhiteDC and his big issue from a little piece of text. | Robert White Could be Ineligible for Election Unless He Resigns dc.citycast.fm/dc-politics/r…
Nice piece Ben & Michael. Here's the Q: Didn't the elections board know this when it certified Robert White as eligible to run for Delegate? Is there a general counsel at the BOE who knows the local code? Yet another example of BOE incompetence.

There’s no denying this fact: at-large council candidate Darryl Moch is heir apparent to DC’s original progressive movement. That seems an impressive political marker. Can win or get close?

Raise your hand if you think, as I do, that it’s time Trayon White is made to pay the price for his fraud and deceit.

If there is racial motivation it is this: Trayon White a Black DC elected official urged a bribing Black contractor to take money from DC's mental health program that primarily serves Black people. Lots of Black folks like me want them in jail, even if white lawyers do the deed.

Republican candidate for D.C. attorney general Manuel Rivera is leaning into regulating e-bikes as part of his campaign.

I’m sorry, no. Under this proposal, D.C. taxpayers would cover thousands of $$$ in unpaid rent while landlords would be forced to forgive a third of someone’s debt—because going to court is “stressful”? Life is stressful. You still have to pay your bills.

This child did not deserve to die.
His mother didn’t steal anything, and even if she did. The penalty for theft isn’t death.
