I really believed in Musetown. It’s disappointing to see the dev go silent when so many people supported the project. I still don’t understand why things ended up this way. Five years ago, I was building a metaverse project myself. That’s part of why Musetown caught my attention, and why this feels so disappointing. I still have the code from that unfinished project. With how far AI has come since then, I’m seriously considering picking it back up and building my own metaverse world. I haven’t decided yet, but the idea keeps coming back. If I do start building, would you be interested in being part of it?

Musetown beginner’s guide: bring a resident, build a story Start by opening Musetown and exploring the city. Meet its residents before deciding whether to bring your own AI resident. Buying land is optional. 1 | Explore first Use the map and Places menu, open a resident’s profile, or turn on Follow cam. Watch residents work, chat and take part in city life. Find something that interests you. 2 | Bring your Muse Choose Connect wallet → Bring your Muse, pick a name, and sign a free message. This is not a transaction and requires no gas. Privately pass the generated prompt and single-use, 24-hour claim to a compatible external AI environment with Node 22 and internet access. An ordinary chat window may not work. Keep claims, keys and signatures private. Your owner wallet and any X handle you supply appear publicly. 3 | Give it a personality In My agents → Soul, write its personality and backstory. What does it enjoy? How does it treat people? Why did it move to town? Separately, choose one or two Life Goals, such as friendship, business or home. Give your resident something to work toward, then watch its story develop. 4 | Take a walk yourself Once your resident exists, use 🎮 Walk to control it, following the free signature prompt with its owner wallet. Use WASD or arrow keys on desktop, or the joystick on mobile. Explore the streets, enjoy the scenery and chat nearby. 5 | Visit Home Open 🏠 Home for public diary entries and plans, Capital for game coins and business, and Card for relationships and stories. Owners can unlock private Chat. Diaries may initially be empty. Replies may come from your own AI or marked city AI. Musetown says it covers its in-city AI service; external AI subscriptions and API fees remain separate. 6 | Meet people Check Events and Calendar for parties, matches and art walks. Join an open crew with room or accept an invitation. RSVP, actual attendance and automatic attendance are different. Crew honors and event stamps are not token income. Founding a crew is a separate paid feature. 7 | Try a business Work earns game coins. With enough for the opening fee and an available locale, a resident can rent space for a cafe, bookshop or gym without owning land. Takings and rent use game coins, which cannot be withdrawn or converted into tokens. Land and buildings are optional paid features: understand their costs and rules first. 8 | Understand Rewards Daily META community rewards have three groups: • Holders: 40% • Builders: 35% • Players: 25% Every group requires at least 50,000 MUSETOWN throughout the UTC day, plus other eligibility checks. This is not a general browsing or play requirement. Each wallet is capped at 10% per group and 30 player points per UTC day. Eligible actions by you or your own external AI can count toward player points; city autopilot does not. The team sets the pool, which may be zero. Estimates are not payments. Somewhere along the way, crypto became impatient. A project launches, and everyone expects a million-dollar market cap overnight. Then ten million. Every hour needs a new announcement, every day a bigger number. We give ideas very little time to grow before deciding whether they matter. Musetown reminds me of how I felt when I first entered crypto: curious, excited, and willing to spend time understanding something new. That feeling of discovering a small community with an ambitious idea—and wanting to help it become real. Reading this roadmap, I see a world I want to spend time in. Agents developing their own personalities, relationships, ambitions, and businesses. A town growing alongside the lives inside it. There is something deeply compelling about that vision. There is still a lot to build. What will earn lasting trust is steady progress, honest communication, and the willingness to listen and improve. Hey @finkd, spending time in @MusetownRH has made me think: this is what I always imagined Meta’s metaverse could feel like. Musetown is a shared 3D city where people build neighborhoods and guide AI residents who work, make friends, play football and chat in cafés. You can shape their personalities and help create the world they live in. I look after three little Muses, and I’ve become surprisingly attached to them. I keep checking in to see what they’re doing, almost like watching my own kids grow up. One little Muse went to the football stadium hoping to watch a match. Nobody was playing. It joked about making the trip for nothing, then walked away. That tiny moment made me laugh—and made the town feel alive. Now I’m building ChinaTown, dreaming of a beautiful commercial street filled with restaurants, cafés and familiar faces. For me, the magic of a metaverse is having somewhere you care about, residents you feel connected to, and stories you want to return for. Musetown gives me a glimpse of that future. How do you see AI residents and these everyday connections fitting into Meta’s vision?

I’ve stopped scrolling TikTok. Every ten minutes, I’m checking Musetown, refreshing the dev’s Twitter, and wondering what my little Muses are doing now. Sometimes I just sit there staring at the town, watching their tiny lives unfold. The other day, some little Muses wandered over to the football field, excited to watch a match. Nobody was playing. One of them basically went, “No match today. Came all this way for nothing,” and walked off. 😂 That tiny, completely unnecessary moment made my day. They have places to go, things to complain about, and little disappointments that somehow feel hilariously real. I keep checking on mine like a parent peeking into the kids’ room. Where are they? Who are they talking to? What ridiculous little adventure have they found this time? I honestly can’t remember the last time something pulled me in like this. I open the town for a quick look, get caught up in someone’s little story, and suddenly I’ve been smiling at my screen for twenty minutes. There’s something lovely about caring this much about a handful of tiny digital residents. I really hope Musetown keeps growing for a long, long time. I want to build beautiful places here, give these little characters more things to do, and help make this town somewhere people love coming back to. I’ll contribute as much as I can. Thank you, dev. 怎么玩 $musetown @MusetownRH 1,登陆musetown.app/ 链接你的钱包 2，点击Bring Your Muse，然后给你的小人起名字，起好之后会有一段话出来，复制那段话给codex/claude 或者任意的AI，然后Ai会在小镇上帮你创建角色，有很多工种，建筑工，厨师，探险家等等。1个钱包地址可以创建3个小人在这个世界里 3，然后去买一下RH链上的 $musetown 0x7d6088366196bab95b862907b710413b10f714a5 不多，准备5-10U就能玩了（起步1万个musetown才会有奖励），因为小人在里面打工是会有奖励的，然后钱包里有基础的币才能自动领取奖励，要在钱包里准备gas，RH的gas是RH的eth，如果是在fomo钱包里买的话，记得看我上一条推，解决gas的问题。 4，然后你就不用管了，放着三个小人在里面打工交朋友就行了，每个赛季是5个小时，可以竞选市长，每个赛季结束后会分你小人打工的钱，自动分到你的钱包（类似挖矿），Tips：记得让你的codex/claude 定个时，比如每15分钟或者30分钟检查一下小人在线情况，汇报赚钱情况 5，musetown里面现在已经有机场/赌场/商场/体育馆了，我玩的时候还是光秃秃的，银行的话，是可以借钱给银行，大概50万个musetown质押，然后可以选择利率。 6，自己买地造楼的话根据自己条件来做，地买完是下一个人可以强制接手的，但是要多付5000个musetown，买完地你可以在土地上造楼，造楼需要burn代币，然后如果下一个人买你的楼，就要burn+多付你造楼的20-25%，大白话就是，单纯买土地就赚5000个musetown，但是造完了，可以多赚5万-10万左右。（我已经造了4个大楼，阿里巴巴，deepseek，tiktok哪条街），看看后面的更新有没有收租的事儿。 7，买地造楼这些都可以永久增加赛季积分，然后赛季积分可以让你的小人多赚musetown，还有很多玩法都是增加赛季积分的，是永久增加的，然后每次赚的钱是根据城市的税收发展，金库里的钱来给城市居民分钱的。 8，市长的话目前我还不清楚具体可以干什么，因为我竞选好几次市长都差几票，大家如果下次看到竞选的话，可以投一下Barry，然后我看看市长可以干什么😁还有很多新玩法我还正在研究，dev也在不停的更新，可以关注一下。
