Adding onto the “love for burnouts” take is how little love Wade gets compared to these guys when at his peak he was *better* and was able to translate his game a little once his injuries slowed him down.
it’s not just kobe, it’s players compared to other players who’s career ended early that love doing this. because it’s more fun to casuals to make up an imaginary career for a rose, t-mac, roy, hill etc. casuals love a burn out.
The people that think Shaq couldn’t win a title without Kobe in that era are just as stupid as the ones who think any two guard is 3peating with him. Never any nuance. Never any real conversation. Just ragebait disguised as being stupid.
T-Mac is such a skilled player without him getting thrown into crazy hypotheticals. One of my favorite players growing up. It’s just so disrespectful to anyone that’s actually won to shoehorn him into places.
Tracy has said so many times he was never “given” an opportunity to win a title and that’s all I need to know about how he’s built.
it’s clearly a difference between “someone could’ve won one with shaq” versus “they 100% 3peat still” as if it’s some regular occurrence.
1 title? Sure. All 3? Smoking dick.
Jeff Teague says Tracy McGrady, or any elite 2-guard from that era, probably could’ve won at least one championship with prime Shaq.
“Damn near any premier 2 guard at that time could have won with Shaq.”

90% of the app doesn’t know why Phil was as good as he was, and if you knew that you’d know LeBron didn’t need that kind of coach.

The reply ban shit is definitely the worst thing about the app. It’s should be able to tell the words you are using aren’t the same and it’s not spam.
guys like this have never rooted for a team they just hop to the next franchise, so it’s obvious why they think like this. a two year gap is what is being gotcha’d. it’s all hamster brains can really comprehend.
Remind me again how long ago LeBron went there? And when did he leave?
#noticing
If you’re gotcha is “opening days games” one way or the other you are proving each others points. Like think for 6 seconds 😭
We love giving guys who never earned anything hypothetical rings.
Jeff Teague says if you replace Steph Curry with Damian Lillard on those Warriors teams, you probably get the same results 👀

being upset about the dodgers landing skubal makes total sense. being mad at skubal for a business decision, when a ball club would show no remorse if the roles were flipped is something though.
Tarik Skubal is as fake as they come.
It’s not like he was trapped on the Rockies with no path to winning meaningful baseball games.
He was with the Tigers, a team with one of the best young cores, a loaded farm system, and a bright future. They’ve been in the ALDS back-to-back seasons.
He left to make generational wealth and take the easy way out to win a World Series ring with the Dodgers.
If winning a ring with the Tigers actually meant something to him, he could have just stayed. He got the exact outcome he’s been angling for, for years now.
