That spring 2024 power grab by the B1G/SEC will continue to skew college sports (and haunt everyone who went along with it out of pure super league fear) for quite a while.
Some news in this story about Playoff expansion. Yormark was very upset Big Ten/SEC/ND leaders ran the negotiations with ESPN, leading to a blowup a few weeks ago.

Sources: Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark is leaving the conference. Yormark made the decision to leave and is expected to accept a new role outside of college sports in the near future. He’ll be with the league at least through January of 2027.
I am blessed to be in a position where I can teach people things while still being relatively young. It’s one of the greatest joys you can experience.
