I read through the MO “citizen”-led amendment 6 initiative petition today and its ballot summary.
🚨 Spoiler alert 🚨: its hot garbage for Missouri. It’s a deceptive, subversive, pernicious threat to our liberties and form of government.
1️⃣ It’s clearly (and cleverly) intended to keep the legislature from bringing challenges to abortion, sports betting, Obamacare, and legal marijuana. All leftist causes that could not succeed in the legislative process, but only through leftist-donor funded campaigns under the guise of “citizen-led” petitions.
2️⃣ In practice, it sets up functional legislation-through-out-of-state-donors and political lobbies, rather than the purported direct democracy, which is pernicious in and of itself (see America’s Founding Fathers).
3️⃣ It assumes the “will of the people” (via direct democracy) is sacrosanct (but only after January 1, 2010!) while assuming the legislature, elected by the people to represent the people, is suspicious. By the way, this is the exact opposite of what the American Founding Fathers thought.
4️⃣ It also enshrines judicial supremacy by giving permission for activist judges to rewrite or revise ballot summaries without any legislative guardrails. Thus, contrary to the stated purpose of protecting the “will of the people,” it removes powers of oversight from elected representatives and hands it to unelected judges. Try squaring that circle.
5️⃣ In violation of both the Missouri and U.S. Constitution (see Judge Green’s decision below), it subverts our republican form of government by replacing it with judicial supremacy and direct democracy.
If you care at all about preserving and protecting our freedoms that have been secured through representative democracy (contra direct democracy), and if you don’t want political lobbies legislating through billionaire-funded constitutional amendments (this is what they are calling “democracy”), then vote NO on Amendment 6 in November.

Conservative values were not always part of the Republican Party. Phyllis Schlafly and the organizations she led shaped the Republican establishment of the time to reflect the American values and Christian morals of the silent majority. The Eagle Council leadership conference was started by Phyllis in 1968 to organize and rally conservatives after Barry Goldwater’s presidential defeat. September 19th is Eagle Council 55, and we look forward to seeing you there in Dallas, TX. Follow Eagle Forum Education & Legal for more updates and to learn more about the life and legacy of Phyllis Schlafly.

They don't make us better. They are taking jobs Americans can do; they are living in homes Americans should be able to buy; they are bringing a foreign culture that clashes with our American values. They need to go make India great; America is for Americans.
It's becoming uncomfortably racist here in the Dallas suburbs.
Here are the facts:
- Indians are 2% of DFW and own 5.3% of its businesses
- DFW's Indian population more than doubled from 2000 to 2010 and is at 220,000 today.
- Asian Indians are the majority in many Frisco subdivisions, and Frisco is one of the wealthiest, fastest-growing suburbs in America.
- In Frisco, where Indians are the largest Asian group: Asian median household income is $190K, median home $642K, poverty 3.5%.
Name the DFW suburbs with the most Indian families: Frisco, Plano, Allen.
Now name the ones with the best schools and highest home appreciation. Same list.
They are literally providing more jobs and paying more in taxes per capita than the average American, and they are overwhelmingly here legally through the most vetted visa process we have.
This is what 'ruining the neighborhood' looks like apparently.
"They are the reason no one can afford homes here!"
The fix for expensive housing is building more houses, and nearly half of DFW construction workers are also immigrants.
The people getting blamed for the housing shortage are the ones framing the houses.
My wife and a friend recently hosted a nonprofit Children's Entrepreneurship Market. Guess who most of the winners were? Yep.
Isn't America supposed to be competitive? They make us better.
The H1B program has real abuses. Outsourcing firms gamed it for years. Fix the program, YES! Agreed! But the families at the mandir in Frisco aren't the program. They're the people the program was supposed to be for.
Mark me down as pro Indian.

The DOJ’s decision to not appeal our historic court win against the NFA was HUGE—but our work isn’t over.
Next, we must ensure this is applied nationwide and is made permanent by rulemaking.
You can count on me to fight to get it right—including in my home state of Georgia.
