My best read in regard to QT was that he was grinding with an older champ to try to win best-of and now that’s not how it works but I’m not 100% sure.
Looks like only newer champs qualify for best-of prizing and you at least need to make Day 2 to be eligible, most of the distribution now for T58 instead of blanket best-of.
The broad mathematics are solved, you could imagine discreet spots where its more complicated (team up just lost their QB for the game, Week 18 and you clinch on a tie, etc.) but if you don’t get it at this point you’re tilting at windmills.
Mana weaving colored mana in a game where it is a nebulous but real advantage. Not as egregious as if you did the same in MTG but a cheat all the same.
Riftbound bit off a lot getting OP up and running as quickly as they did, combine that with Best-Of prizing and you’ve got a recipe for smash-and-grab cheaters ruining shit for everyone else. I think anything less than a lifetime ban doesn’t signal the appropriate seriousness.
I want to apologize to Minh, Challenger TCG and all of my supporters who defended me. I really fucked up and double down on it. I was afraid and have never been in this situation before. I didn’t want to let everyone down by telling the truth of what really happened, and on top of lying to everyone including my family and friends, I was lying to myself. I didn’t wanna believe it myself that what I was doing was cheating, as crazy as that sounds. I know what I did was wrong, and again, nothing I can say can change that I truly am sorry to everyone, especially to my opponents who I played against. I love Riftbound with everything I have and unfortunately, I really let down a lot of people. I truly am sorry.

Was he also clueless that he can't flat out stack his runes to perfection?
To do it on camera - cheating is his second nature.
