We increased flags from 5 to 10 for members, which makes filtering easier for us π©
> (and no, flags are not the only decision factor for filtering, but they help)
Vouches stay at 3; it's tight on purpose β
Honestly, I don't know how we're gonna filter this; it's gonna be tough
If you're reading this, you're more likely to get filtered (sorry in advance)
But we're adding a tracker for everyone who applied, so it gives you some edge for the next rounds π
+750 applications. 5 days left. 10 spots.
Some important info about vouches and how we review π
Take @floridapearl_ as an example. She's the most vouched applicant so far with 6 vouches.
Left is the member view, what every GEM sees: her card, X, Discord age, and vouch count.
Right is the team view. It has a lot more detail, and her full profile is open to me and the team for review.
How vouching works: (many asking) β
- Go to vault.alphagems.io/join?tab=β¦, find the name, and you get 3 vouches β
and 5 flags π©
- Max is 3 vouches because we're only taking 10 people
- Who you vouch for is hidden on purpose. We know some people get pressured or abused for vouches, so no pressure on anyone
- Vouch weight depends on your role: Temp 1x, GEM 3x, Honorary 4x, Council 5x
Privacy π‘οΈ
- Nobody can see the flags, only me & team
- Nobody can see the wallets, so no one gets doxxed
- You can still see each applicant's wallet rank, called "BAG" (collector, holdings, NFTs, etc.), here: vault.alphagems.io/join?tab=β¦
How we decide π
- We look at a lot of other metrics that stay hidden
- Vouches don't guarantee entry. They're a boost that helps me and the team spot you in the crowd
- Picking 10 out of 760+ is not easy, but we'll try our best to make the right call
Would love to get you all in, but it's impossible without ruining the community we built.
Didn't get vouched? Don't feel bad. It's a lot of people, and there's a new round every month π

Hella proud of the culture we have; hands down the best people π
GEMS give GEMS π
GEMs support GEMS π
GEMs give back to GEMS π
Really proud of the culture we built π
Just this month, so many GEM members have raffled money back to the community.
I even had to tell some of them: βNo, please make more money first, then give backβ β
Everyone is always trying to help. When someone gets hacked or takes a big loss, GEMS step up and support them.
We literally have the best community & the best culture.
Hella proud of my people ππ
