🚨 BREAKING: Konrad #Laimer had to be sedated by the Bayern physio before the flight back to Munich could take off because he kept running up and down the aisle on the plane. [#trustmebro]

.@mano_bonke, @VTschirpke, October 9: "Jamal Musiala is expected back in the squad against Freiburg (October 25) Max Eberl, October 17: "It won't be enough for Arsenal. He will slowly be eased back, but he will be back in October"

It's not. Recovery time for a pulled hamstring is 4-6 weeks. We're are perfectly within that time frame

Bara Sapoko Ndiaye's appendectomy recovery has not been documented officially but the expectation is that he will miss the Magdeburg and Der Klassiker, and almost definitely the match against Atlético. He would be highly doubtful the following weekend against Mainz. Most likely, he'll be back in the squad after the next international break.

It's D-Day. Today is a very important day for our club. We will feel the difference of today's result in the future. Players dream about winning this trophy, and there's nothing you and I can do to stop them from doing so. If Kane (or Olise, however unrealistic that may be) win the award, it's not just good PR for us from the aspect of fans and sale of merchandise, but more importantly it shows players either wanting to extend or to join us that it is possible to win the Ballon d'Or as a Bayern player, and that could be the difference between a player joining us or choosing another club, or him asking for more money to make up for this disadvantage. On the other hand, this can really screw us if Kane doesn't win. It shows the whole world, including Olise who's wanted by Real Madrid, that no matter how much you deserve the award, it's simply next-to-impossible to win it as a Bayern player. How can we attract the very best or retain our best players if we've proven how unappreciated they will be by the world simply for playing for Bayern? Sure, maybe we can win them by offering them higher salaries, but then we're going to raise our salary bill all over, even for players who don't have a realistic chance of winning the Ballon d'Or, people like Laimer for example. And if we're spending more money on salaries than we should be, then it means we're going to get weaker sporting-wise.

3-3 is no doubt a result that falls below expectations. We can blame the pitch, the extra 1 day rest for our opponents, the fireworks let off during the night, the form of the players etc. BUT: would the mood be better if we had gone 3-0 down and fought back to draw 3-3 at 90'?

Georgi Kabakov will be the referee for Viking Stavanger vs FC Bayern. Almost a year ago to the day, the Bulgarian received an indefinite suspension in his home country for inexplicably failing to intervene as VAR official when a player handled the ball with both hands before assisting. The ban was lifted a month later. He was then at the centre of further controversies and was omitted from appointments as recently as April 2026.

The biggest talking point should be Carlos del Cerro Grande making the VAR again in a Bayern match after he had overstepped the limitations of his duties last season against PSG by ordering the ref to look at the screen for Davies's handball and thus indirectly claiming it was a "clear and obvious error" to not have awarded PSG a penalty virtually no pundit/expert agreed it should have been given.

Based on exact chronological age, our average squad age was 26.88 on September 1, 2025. It climbed to 26.94 by February 2, 2026, and reached 27.02 by September 1, 2026. These numbers don't corroborate Eberl's claim that the squad is getting younger.

Today marks the 20th birthday of BayernForum.com, when it was made public and users started joining and posting the first posts. The community was already existing and had started off as a spin-off from a forum off a @BSchweinsteiger unofficial fan site, making the community older than when both Facebook and Twitter were made public. We are, to the best of our knowledge, the oldest international community of FC Bayern fans! A special thanks goes out to everyone who has made up this community, because without you it is just software. To many more decades!

It is unclear when he returned to training, as the only official confirmation is that he played in a friendly on 04/07/2026, but today 13/07/2026 he sustained a syndesmosis ligament injury. During this timeline he spent a total of 609 mins on the pitch in the Regionalliga and 94 mins in the 2. Bundesliga.
Tarek Buchmann, who returned to Bayern this summer after his loan spell in Nürnberg, has sustained a syndesmosis ligament injury and has already undergone surgery. He will be sidelined until further notice

Sir Harry Edward Kane🙇‍♂️
The Liberal Democrats have tabled a motion in UK Parliament calling for Harry Kane to be awarded a knighthood. The motion, put forward by Liberal Democrat MP, Layla Moran, notes the pride that Kane has brought the country - now surpassing the legendary Pelé in total World Cup goals scored. Moran is urging MPs from every party to get behind the campaign, and for the Government and the Palace to get the sword ready for 'Sir Harry' 🎖️🇬🇧
