Preseason No. 1 Florida gets tripped up by Baylor in an exhibition. All five Gators' starters played 33+ minutes, but the offense was brutal for long stretches. 4-28 from downtown. Baylor PG Kayden Mingo (31 points, eight rebounds, four dimes) has taken a major sophomore leap.

The McLane Paradox (noun): A mysterious phenomenon at Baylor football games where the louder we cheer, the bigger the crowd, and the more emotionally invested we get, the worse the Bears play. The formula: ↑ Fan Enthusiasm = ↓ Baylor Performance Science can’t explain it. Baylor fans live it. #SicEm

You can’t blame Baylor fans for not wanting to show up to games. Because every time they do show up and create a great atmosphere the team does this. It’s literally every time.

Sonny Dykes says TCU used the time off to do a deep dive on what caused the 2-3 start. Said they looked at strength & conditioning, nutrition and some scheme stuff. Changes were made, Dykes wouldn't elaborate on specifics because he said opponents would want to know that info.

Head coach Dave Aranda after Baylor's dominant win over Arizona State last night🐻⤵️ "This is it. This is us right here ... There's been so much criticism of this team and negative stuff. After a while, it's like you can't take no more. What helps bring it out is when you go to enemy territory, when they're all against you ... and you can be a villain, and that's what you saw. Pretty strong energy with that. We have to keep that." Full quote:
