Week 4 of Scroll Open was all about design. And wow, what a colorful week it was! 🎨 Started with my own challenge: 4 hours to build an MVP (Yes, I used AI to remind myself how to code… don’t judge! 😅) But what really blew me away? Your designs. Shoutout to some design standouts from this week: • @Beamit_AI that managed to balance clean design and intuitive UX • @afrokayie who created a platform with crystal clear flows • @easonchaiii who is building a prediction market UI that looks super clean • @BuilderRegis who is making risk management simple and beautiful • @Gethsun1 who built the Chama DApp with seamless cycle tracking • @jofawole who focused on making CashVault's minimalist yet powerful interface I’m glad to see so many of you implement my key takeaways - design should be useful and intuitive, followed by pretty. What a week it’s been… what a week! It’s time to recap how Scroll Open Week 3 went. This week was all about MVPs, and wow - the energy from all of you has been incredible! In our lecture, I shared key insights on building MVPs that matter: • Ship fast & iterate • Focus on core value • Validate with real users • Avoid the perfection trap In my weekly vlog, I also showed you how I pivoted my own idea based on user feedback. And yes, I admitted that I'll be spending my weekend brushing up on my coding skills (it's been a while, okay 🫣) But enough about me - let's talk about the amazing MVPs emerging from our builder community: • @jofawole is building an automated savings tool that lets you allocate savings straight from your wallet • @Beamit_AI is building a 3D avatar generator for pfp NFTs (this looks super cool!) • @easonchaiii is creating a prediction market that is a P2P lending protocol with rewards for betters • @UseDayfi’s app is solving real payment problems in Nigeria • @fractionaxapp is making RWA discovery and investment accessible to everyone • @EkundayoE78 is building a logistics app that relies on blockchain tech to make the service decentralized • @Gethsun1 is building an app to enable easier group savings • @aadeexyz is building a lending platform with 5-100x yields compared to Aave • @0x_JoyE is creating a web3 job marketplace Every MVP I've seen this week has blown me away - from the 600+ builders across 80+ countries, each one is tackling real problems in unique ways. This is just a small selection of what's being built on Scroll, and I’m super excited to continue giving feedback on all other MVPs and ideas. Next week is all about design, get ready!
