“Brazil Supreme Court Justice, Cristiano Zanin, President Lula’s former lawyer who defended him during the Petrobras corruption scandal and whom Lula himself appointed to the Supreme Court, ordered that voting across Brazil be extended by TWO HOURS!!!
Zanin is not even a member of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), whose president was appointed by Bolsonaro. The TSE normally handles election issues.
His decision forced election authorities to suspend the vote count. The real scandal however, lies in the fact that Zanin had no legal authority to intervene, yet he did so anyway to help his buddy Lula.
The order was subsequently restricted to polling stations that had not yet closed, most likely in less developed regions where Lula tends to receive more votes.
This is a massive scandal in Brazil and goes to show that the country is nothing more than a banana republic.”

While AI is surely accelerating finding human created security issues, it is a temporary problem, and most open source project leads have already figured out how to also use AI to reduce new bugs moving forward.

This doom based marketing approach that the AI labs are pushing is really short sighted. While this will of course drive business to us, I find it unethical to distort the truth and use scare tactics in messaging.
The greater truth is that AI is making the software industry more secure, by identifying the human errors in code, and soon we will end up in a much better place.

When Nayib Bukele brings correctness, liberty and safety to El Salvador, their first reaction is to call it "lawless" because it was not them that was behind it.

And now El Salvador is trying to help other countries, the attacks on them will increase, as it will be seen (incorrectly) that El Salvador is trying to extend its influence outside its borders by means other than setting example. And even if it was the case, they will say that, "It's OK when USA invades other countries, BECAUSE IT'S US, and WE'RE DIFFERENT". Despicable filth!
